  Sometime In November, I paid my membership...and asked to have my account closed the next following month due to hardship, the last time i was in Crunch on *************, i spoke to 2 staff members, told them that i was moving to Florida and no longer needed the membership next month they advised me there was a location in Florida. I still declined to keep the membership, they had me sign something on the computer to cancel. Some how that didnt work, so they had me sign some papers, which now that think about it i should have been given copies of. Which were contract cancelation paperwork. The staff members were pleaseant and assured me everything was handled. Today, i get a call from a debt collector for an amount of over $300..n I stopped visiting Crunch before my membership was due. WHY WAS MY CARD EVEN CHARGED?, i even informed them my wallet was stolen the week previous. They assured me again i will not be charged in Dec. and the account was closed zero balance how do i have one in collections then? I since been in a car accident on November 29th 2022. I cant go to Pennsylvania its impossible, i notified them in person, plus filled out paperwork on their computer, n signed physical paperwork i was never given a copy of. i still cant walk nor do i have a car anymore to get anywhere. I would like this removed from credit file, and i want my account CLOSED and i want it in writing as i have done in person when i was in Pennsylvania. I also seen this location has had this same thing with 3 other customers, n Ive also seen 283 cases reported to the BBB across the USA. This is not acceptable. This is predatory, and borderline criminal. Ive sent numerous emails. Ive called only to no answer or put on hold and phone hangs up after minutes on hold. Also have had other people call to see if they get the same result. And no customer service skills whatsoever. I will be waiting for remedy the standard legal timeframe before seeking more intense legal remedy. Thank you.
