On 6/11/2024, $3000 was paid in full to Corson Tree Services for the trimming of tree limbs that hang above 8 Harding St, my home, as well as haul it away. They were scheduled to come on 6/22/2024 but decided to do the job earlier on 6/16/2024 because of an oncoming heat wave. Upon arriving on the site, it was confirmed again that they would be trimming the previously pointed out limbs that are endangering the home, as well as brush that they run into along the way. There was initial concern on my end as I had overheard two of the workers talking about the third having shown up to work drunk as well. After this, we had ordered them a pizza incase it would help. A couple hours into the job, they had cut off a limb that was dangling over a stairwell, one that was not above the house at all and it demolished a large portion of the handrail that lead to and from the home's main entrance. After this occurred, it became clear that they were beginning to leave the job once the guy that was actually in the tree cutting things, descended it, left, and did not come back. After some arguing, they then agreed to clean up some, but not all of the mess, and leave the job unfinished. The limbs that we had wanted gone, the ones that sit right above every bedroom in the house, are still there, and they instead destroyed our handrail by dropping what was effectively a small tree on it. The initial point of contact then drove home, and picked up his wife, who apparently owns the company. She claimed that someone from their insurance company would be on site next day to assess damages, and that did not happen. The cops were then called, but there was no resolution offered as they said it wasn't the cops responsibility. As of right now they have cut off all communication and we do not have any insurance information from them.
