We purchased a used car on 3/17/23 from cam automotive LLC. We were told they did a complete 120 point service and inspection on the vehicle. Upon driving home we first felt an issue upon shifting. They were notified and it had to be brought back for service on day 2. That service never fixed the issues. Infact cam automotive had us take it to ***** for diagnosis and that shop found MAJOR mechanical issues with not only the transmission but also the rear main seal of motor is gone and also the rear differential is shot. Tires so bad and blistered. They verified that the issues found were definitely there at time of purchase and this was not inspection passable then nor would it ever pass another pa inspection again until all these issues were fixed. They have been given everything and now are saying that ***** isn't trusted so they need the car back to make the cheapest assessment to get rid of us. For 59 days we've emailed them with no help from anyone at Cam automotive. The vehicle cannot be driven and this has financially crippled us. And they now want to say because we've been upset about this they don't have to do anything and ultimately doesn't care. I have very detailed information. They also tried submitting the issues we reported on the first day of ownership to be covered by warranty but that was denied because it was all pre existing issues found! So the warranty company said that is borderline fraudulent because if we notified them on day 1 then they knew that the issues were present at date of sale. They just continue to make a joke at the seriousness of the matter! We financed a 10,000 loan and for just the transmission work alone have an estimate for almost what the vehicle is worth.

We purchased a used vehicle on 4/5 from Cam Auto, they stated they do not inspect their vehicles until sold, so they don't sit on the lot with inspections expiring. We were guaranteed PA inspection however it took them 1 1/2 months and multiple trips back to them, there was a new issue each time and they kept saying it needed reset and driven a certain amount of miles. It took just about three months to even receive title and registration. Within three months the whole radiator blew because they rigged the thermostat, the fan was so degraded it blew through the radiator, causing almost 1000.00 in repairs, plus towing fees. Every time we took the car back to have anything done, in the inspection process they were using used parts and obviously not fixing any of the actual problems.

Customer purchased vehicle knowing vehicle has to be driven for emissions monitors to be reset.  Cam Automotive guaranteed any issues that would arise for PA state inspection and emissions would be paid for by Cam Auto.  Catalytic converter code came about after vehicle was driven in which was replaced brand new by Cam Automotive.  Then another code came up for a thermostat after vehicle was driven for monitors for emissions also which was also fixed by Cam Automotive with a brand new part at "no cost" to the customer once again.

Customer must have consulted with another mechanic 3 months down the line when radiator blew because we received no phone call after all our fixes were complete.  Vehicle was sold with 154k miles and we made sure to cover every component if there was an issue even outside the warranty for our customers, but you do have to keep Cam Automotive in the loop if problems do occur.  First time we get contacted is through a review about a situation we didn't even know occured.

Just to be clear, vehicle was replaced with new parts every time and and there was no charge to customer for any repair perfomed.
