    To whom it may concern,

The client began her child`s care at an affiliate daycare center but had withdrawn her child without any warning nor complaint. Our policies, which are given to every parent upon admittance, specify that the childcare is to be paid for every week regardless if you choose to have your child attend. Additionally we do not refund for services rendered, and we require a 2 week written notice for withdrawal of a child as our space is limited and we must account for which children will be attending. Unfortunately the client supplied us with neither her two weeks' notice nor the payment for the time in which her spot was held. We had to reach out just to verify the status of her child's admittance, or lack thereof, and we still received no payment for the spot that was held in abeyance for three weeks. (No payment was ever made on this outstanding balance.) Regrettably still The client was incapable of finding permanent alternative child care following her exodus and beseeched us to return to continue child care.

As a christian company we strive to be understanding, though her child's spot had been occupied by another child, as a kindness we provided a position at another local location, Lansdale Christian Academy.

Her child began in September with her first payment made on the 8th of that same month. At that time we were not made aware of her ELRC application in any way and as such she paid as any independent parent(s) would. On friday November 18 we were notified that **** had picked her up and that her co-pay of $58 would begin on the coming monday, this notification made no mention of backpay. Approximately a month later I was informed by **** that there had been a supposed overpayment on their end and asked that we refund ***. ******* for the months that her child attended. These services had already been paid, confirmed by ****, quote: ...your family had paid the child care program privately for services prior to being determined as eligible for subsidized child care services.Your family was deemed eligible for Child Care Works (CCW, subsidized services) retroactively.

We informed ELRC of our aforementioned policies, noting that her payments had been made before **** and offered to return the money to them to pay the client themselves. They too said it was against their policies to refund money to the parents. In an attempt to accommodate the client we also offered as an alternative to use the supposed overpayments to cover all co-pays until the balance was settled. Both suggestions were rebuffed by **** and ***. ******** leaving us no recourse that didn't disregard our policies.

Once again we would like to note that the supposed overpayment came from **** and not from the client.

    Respectfully,

**************************** Director of Lansdale Christian Academy.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
First thing I'm not complaining about ** ******* daycare, she was very nice with my kids and with me too, I changed a daycare cause I found another daycare next to my work place! And I apologize for any other inconvenience that I caused to your business!

second thing the overpayment was made by me , cause I paid you all the weeks that I'm eligible for subsidized child care, the **** told me that ****************************** should give me my money back, she got paid for my kids twice!!! I'm eligible for subsidized child care cause I'm low income so all what I need is to get my money back!

    Regards,
