My car was parked in the back of my boyfriends house on his property while we went on vacation for a week. We came back and the car was gone. It took us over a week to find that Delco towing had it. Once I went to the towing company to pick up my car, the owner had my title in his office which he took out of my car’s glove compartment. My title was in there because I just got new tags and wasn’t sure what info I needed. Once he gives me my title he makes a joke about if it was here for a few more days I could’ve sold it and I feel like he was going to. So not only did he go tow my car on personal property but also used a tool to unlock my car and go through my things and took my title. I also told and showed him proof I was on personal property which belonged to my boyfriend and he still made me pay to get my car back. I don’t have receipt since I paid cash but the picture I’m uploading is a conversation with a neighbor who seen it get towed. I paid $865

    Good Morning

We received the compliant ID ******** – below is out response to this tow.

The car in question was requested to be towed by the owner of the property, the property was an apartment building. The vehicle was being towed for invalid inspection, registration and insurance, per the property owners request. When the customer came to pick up the car there was no proof shown of the property being owned by the customers boyfriend. The car was on our property for 2 weeks before someone came to claim this car. No one from our company took anything from this car as the customer is stating in the complaint – additionally a paper receipt is given with all transactions, including cash transactions.

If there is any other information you need in regards to this compliant please let us know
