My car went into business to get a catalytic converter put on it February 3 ,2023 . they did find other things wrong with my car, which I said, go ahead and fix. The first catalytic converter they put on which I bought the light on my car came on so I took the car back to them. They had me send it back and they replaced it with another one they got from the store which I paid the difference of then they said the sensors I bought were no good, they said they replaced the sensors. I never got the sensors back that I bought. , well, then the light came on again, and they said the timing went out. The serpentine belt went out all the stuff kept going wrong to my car. I kept paying for it, so as the lights kept coming on my car to fix it which it’s a 2014 Buick encore, they kept replacing parts thinking that’s the problem I kept suggesting to take it to regular Buick garage and let them put it on the scanner. Finally, they told me they did and they had to do something else. Well needless to say the lights come on again this time since I got it back , I started jerking it’s backfiring which every time I got my car back it was backfiring and the catalytic converter light came on. It only stayed off for a day each time because all they would do is reset the computers so finally I took it to the Buick dealer and they said they put on all aftermarket parts , and on this car you couldn’t do that and they said the coil connector they broke one of the tooth in the connector. That is why the car was backfiring . They told me they replaced the tooth in the pigtail. Well this is the second time they told me they fixed the coil connector because they told me they replaced it before. Then they said the small pipe that they welded on was too small. They took off the flex pipe which I had replace and they sent me a picture of this. I have everything in text messages should be there so they replace that I got my car back.July 23 again. Now it’s completely broke down it’s smoking it’s backfired and the lights are on. I want Northstar to fix my car. It’s going on seven months. I have not had my car more than a day every week or every two weeks I’ve been paying insurance on paying double the gas mileage. I need help

    Better Business Bureau:

As you can see to the text messages that I sent you in the pictures this started the beginning of February and you can see the last text message that was sent and a picture of the catalytic converter light the check engine light on in my car. So they told me they’ll take off the old one and give them money and I’ll buy another one and put it on. I have 177 pages of text messages saying all this.. in December 12 I did have a flex pipe put onto my car. My car drove right and then in January check engine light come on took it to AutoZone and they said it needs a catalytic converter. That’s when I bought my own and they put it on then. timing went out then they rigged up the coil connector. They told me they took it to the Buick dealer and had them diagnose it which they lied to me. They did not upon me taking it myself in June and then saying they’ll fix it they’ll buy that regional parts and they will put it on the car the right parts they went up. They paid to diagnose charges in June they picked up the car and did not buy the parts the last text messages you could see me asking for proof that they bought the parts. My car still backfires when you drive it. I’m scared to blow the engine up you can’t drive it and drive it you can’t drive it for they knew about it and it’s an all the text messages.
