I ordered a shower pan from this company in 04/06/2024. Multiple issues with this company. 1- Shipping took longer that what was advertised and from the *** on my order confirmation. Vintage Tub received my order (4/6) and $1201.64 was paid to them. After payment, Vintage Tub stated the product was back ordered. Once shipped, they used a shipping company called ****. **** held my shipment until they delivered on 05/22/2024. **** would schedule a delivery date and cancel the night before and reschedule. This happened multiple times. Eventually Ceva stopped all contact. Phone number for **** listed on their emails was not in service when I attempted to call. I ******* them and called the local office. A woman on the phone found my shipment and scheduled my delivery. 2- The package arrived. (At this point the contractor is waiting on the shower pan and we are delayed) Package was a crate and not possible for me to open. ********** did not provide any forewarning of how to open the product and that tools are required. I was not prepared for opening a crate at delivery. My contractor arrived 5/24 and was able to open crate. After opening we discovered pan was broken in 3 pieces. 3- I contacted Vintage Tub to report damage and requested a resolution. I spoke with a *** ***. She stated she was going to work on an exchange. I emailed her pictures and a summary of the issue. *** was nonresponsive to all follow up emails and did not follow up via phone. It took several phone calls from me to get status u[pdates. The exchange was ordered and was pending for over a month. I would call during these weeks and *** would state the order is pending and apologized for inconvenience. Beginning of July I made my final call and was told there was in fact no exchange or order for a new pan because I didn't open the crate and report at delivery. 4- Only 4 and 5 star customer reviews on company website are published. This company is selectively publishing their reviews. Deceptive

Although the woman at customer service, Jennifer, tried to assist she was unable to actually rectify my situation. I was in the process of building house that took over a year to build. I had ordered an expensive sink with accessories and had them delivered to the contractor’s office. They were instructed to look it over, but obviously did not pull it out to view. When they did I noticed that only the initial powder coat had been completed. There were numerous scratches as well. I had 48 hours to return the sink and obviously didn’t. I recognized that both the contractor and Vintage Tub were at fault and also recognized that the time limit had passed. I could easily understand the scratches not being the responsibility of Vintage, but sending out an incompleted product made me feel that something should be done by them. My only response was a 16 percent (certainly odd percentage) discount on a new sink along with touch up paint. The touch up paint would be useless on a powder coat. Consequently, we had to discard the sink and accessories at a $2k loss and purchase a different sink elsewhere.

VTB is sorry to hear that this has happened. After reviewing the order and details, we find that the sink was shipped back in December of 2022 and the damage was not reported until January of 2024. The pictures that were sent show that the paint and exterior finish on the sink had been scraped down to the cast iron. The sink did not ship from the VTB facility in this condition, the damage occurred after shipping. Unfortunately, VTB is only allowed 5 business days from date of receipt to report any concealed damage with the freight companies. If the damage had been reported within that time frame, the outcome would have been different. The damaged sink could have been repaired or returned and a new sink shipped out at no charge.

I certainly understand the time limitation, but I stand by my statement that Vintage Tub sent out an inferior product. There is no way that sink was scrapped down. I will let this slide, but many people have advised me to seek an attorney.

Horrible customer service I’ve talked to four different people to resolve an issue. I have requested to talk directly to a manager, and I have yet to hear back.

Stay away. Order elsewhere. They kept giving me ship dates because of a shower was on back order. Two weeks would go and the new shipping date would go by with no communication from company. I would have to call and this process has repeated 5 times. Finally I got wise and demanded a refund. They have held on to my money for 2 months now. Be warned. I have never left a review but I have never been lied to so much a "company".

VTB apologizes for the unexpected shipping delay with the customers order. The product that was ordered is supplied by a third part facility who provided the estimated ship dates. All dates are estimated, not guaranteed. The order was placed on March 2, at that time the website stated "call or chat for availability" and the supplier then advised that the estimated ship date as 3/27. When this date passed VTB was then advised of the further delay of 4/18 at which time the cancellation request was rcvd and the order was cancelled and the refund was issued on 4/19. VTB regrets that the dates provided were not accurate as provided and that it caused the customer frustration and delays in their project.

I purchased a bath tub which arrived broke. I have called/emailed/online chatted and left comments several times for a replacement but have not heard anything back.

VTB apologizes for the delay in response to the customers emails, this delay is certainly not intended. The new tub has been ordered and is due to ship mid April once this particular model is back in stock in the warehouse.

Super high quality and gorgeous products. Helpful sales and customer service team answering my questions. No issue getting ahold of them when I wanted an update on estimated delivery. Highly recommend and will be using them again in the future!

Bought a Mila 61” Cast Iron Slipper tub with the clawfoot tub rim mount and spent over $2,200.00! Contractor is having issues installing the rim faucet set, it leaks regardless. I’ve called Vintage Tub & Bath several times to let them know the part is defective, but I can’t get a response. Contractor has called and emailed Vintage Tub and Bath several times as well, and still no response. Very poor customer service. Going to call credit card company to file a claim for defective merchandise.

I'm shocked that they responded to a review saying they would 2nd day air a bathtub. That's crazy and is indicative of the complete disconnect between marketing and operations. Our experience has been mediocre and I no longer recommend clients order from this company. If they do, I tell them they have to be solely responsible for returns, warranty calls, etc.

I wish zero stars were a possibility. This company is horrendous. I purchased a tub and filler online and was immediately charged the full amount of $1,500. One month later, no tub and no refund despite assurances the amount would be refunded after I canceled the order. You’re on hold forever. They do not respond to emails. When you do connect with customer service, they tell you a lie that you want to hear - “Oh, it’s scheduled to ship tomorrow.”- just to get you off the phone. These people are despicable. Spend your money and effort elsewhere. They are THE WORST.

I seem to be having the same issue with this vendor. They are not returning any of the emails to customer service, even when you send a follow up referencing the emails they still do not respond. Other sites have so much better customer service, other sites inform you, a home owner, whether or not the fixtures you are ordering are allowed in your state or not, this one does none of that and when you reach out for info or for support, and a support for a return, you get complete radio silence, yet somehow you gets email adds pushed from the every single day. I agree that it is also false advertising, they say Made in the USA but one of my orders was backordered coming from China and then stuck on a ship in the Bay for weeks, so how is it Made in USA when it comes from another country? This company appeared to have good products for that older vibe and look but the customer service is just unresponsive which basically says you should and will never order from there again, you do not know what you are getting, when you are getting it and if you need assistance there is none. Other sites inform you whether a fixture is allowed in your zip code and if you need help they are so responsive and willing to stay on the line until it is right. Unfortunate that so many here are saying the same thing.
