Date of issue was June 23 through June 25, 2022 We paid 290.82 for this hotel for two nights. We only stayed one night due to issues with the hotel. We checked out late 6/24/22, could not sleep there again. The hotel's website was totally incorrect, deceptive advertising....both inside and outside. The hotel looks nothing like how it is pictured, states a totally nonsmoking hotel, but yet it reeks of old smoke and mustiness. Weeds as high as your hip in some places and totally unkept outside Totally swindling money out of guests when they stay here. We checked out a day early, did not stay another night due to the smell of smoke and the uncleanliness of the hotel. They will not give us a partial refund. They sent us a copy of our stay via email, stating we checked out on June 25th at 10:18, where as we left the night before. Contacted the general manager of the hotel, he stated "they apologize for falling short and want us to come back to make it right". I contacted corporate and they sent back "they apologize that our stay did not meet our expectations, here are 8000 points deposited for our inconvenience". If you look at the reviews from other people that stayed there, they are having the same issue, very outdated rooms, uncleanliness, all around the walls hasn't been swept for some time, horrible smells of must and cigarette smoke, holes in curtains, slashed lampshades, water leakage stains on the bathroom ceiling, mold in the bathroom/shower area, dripping water in the tub that would not stop, the air condition had a smell when it ran, the breakfast they offer literally had fleas crawling on the plates by the food, the pool was closed indefinitely, however they still advertised the indoor pool.... We were told on the website that this was a clean and smoke-free hotel, picture advertised was very deceptive.....totally a joke, can't believe the health department has not been out there yet. Our hotel confirmation number was *********

It all started when we made a reservation for a king size bed room, we were charged 178.20 with tax. We arrived approximately at 8pm grabbed our room Key and set out to the room. The gentleman at the front desk provided the key and limited information about hotel and amenities. However that was fine as we were staying one night on our way home. When we went to the room, the room was clean but hot. My husband and I looked at the thermostat and it said it was set at 65. But temperature was 80. We turned down temp and went to dinner. When we returned room only cooled to 76. I called front desk to inform them of issue. The same gentleman was very short and hung up the phone. I sat there wondering if he was going to send someone or what was happening. He never communicated with me what he could do, so we sat there for about 10 minutes when someone knocked on the door, a young woman holding a box fan. That was not going to be acceptable it would only move the stuffy hot air around the room. With the infant with us and already finding the hotel was booked full with no other room options, we told her that we did not want the fan but rather a refund and to check out. She advised that was not an issue and apologized. She indicated that the general manager was at the front desk and go see him. I myself went in to get my refund so we could find other accommodations for the night. Instead of getting a refund, I was met with vulgar, demeaning and disrespectful man who checked me in. Told me I would not get a refund, that I was a difficult customer for not accepting the fan as an option. He knew of ac issues, listed in hotel reviews from other customers and other guests that arrived checked their rooms and said ac did not work.Despite my request forced refund and having him email to confirm we left immediately, the next day he still charged us and made no attempt for refund, lied on invoice indicating we left at 11:51 am the following day. Still no refund
