            I contacted the business to evaluate the repair of an antique photograph album and the owner, *************************, assessed project via email and told me to send album; album sent 6/14 with a deposit check of $200, subsequently cashed. Mr. * previously handled two repairs for other books--excellent work. On 10/17, I emailed for status; his response on 10/18: "I have your album 95% done. Just waiting for some special hand made papers to be delivered so I can put the endpapers back down. Hopefully be done by this Friday. Ill let you know if that changes." Emailed him for status on 12/4, 12/12, 12/19, and left fone messages on 12/16 and 12/21: no response to any since 10/18. If Mr * is in trouble or out of town, his email or vmail have no messages to the effect. In view of lack of response, I am contacting BBB for help.

            Hello,
            The album arrived yesterday--100% conserved and repaired. We can therefore close my complaint.  The business owner, *************************, in an email repeats that he has closed his business and owing to neurological trouble can no longer perform many functions, including driving.
