Account# *********** Date of Visit - 5/19/2023 Service provided - ***/*** Billed amount after Insurance - $3031.81 We were there for a wellness check based on my pediatrician's recommendation. We were there just less than 90 minutes and they didn't even tell us the procedures what they would do and how much it would cost. When there is such a huge bill going to be there, it's their responsibility to provide to inform us before going with that procedure. How it would be paying a $3000 bill just 30 minutes for a doctor's visit? Such big reputed hospitals can't do such business by not keeping informed about all procedures and costs. I am pretty sure 100% every parent will agree with my pain and agony. It's totally ridiculous of hospitals doing such business practices rather than being family-friendly. They clearly know that this procedure is not required and why did they perform such expensive without discussion? Now I feel that all their ads are deceiving and misguiding parents.

Hello, I am reaching out to your company for assistance. I have been trying to get a few things corrected from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) Billing Department. 1. I have been getting bills that have been submitted to collections that don't belong to the care that was rendered to my son. 2. My son's ******* **** online medical records have someone else's billing information and medical information included in his online chart, which is a major HIPPA infraction. I have reached out to the CHOP billing department on several occasions to have this corrected in the past. I accidentally paid the copayment in a hurry because of the referral to collections and not paying attention that the bill was not mine. Can you assist me in getting the above complaints corrected? I have uploaded evidence from my son's online chart, which also reflects the last date he was seen at CHOP, which was May 9, 2022. Thank you for your assistance in this very stressful matter. Best regards,**** ****
