Unsafe and unprofessional. Inspector came an hour early and let himself in without agent present. We have a dogs and it could have become a problem because they immediately became stressed.

My spouse and I are in the process of purchasing our first home and decided to go with Core Inspection company for our home inspection services. Unfortunately, our experience with this company has not been great at all. The individual who conducted our home inspection did an okay job with explaining his inspection finds but overall customer service could have been much better. We were told that we would receive our inspection results by the next morning, but this was not at all the case. We received the incorrect inspection report the following day. After the company was contacted multiple times explaining this, we were then told that we would receive the correct inspection report by end of day that same day. After patiently waiting...we did not receive the report as promised by end of day. After calling again many times and leaving emails, we have not received a response or any communication since. The Core Inspection website also states that customers would receive $200 in handyman discount services, but were told to contact another company in order to figure that out. This is a huge problem and has been extremely frustrating considering paying over $800 in inspection cost and not being met with proper service. We now have to push other requirements back for our home buying process because of the unexplained delay in receiving our inspection report and not receiving any communication. The company was also informed of our frustrations. We were then just responded with, "sorry, we will do better in the future". I encourage anyone searching for inspection companies to be cautious of this company before paying for services.

Used this company twice. On the second house they misled me on several issues that were in much more disrepair than shown in the report. I used their opinion and estimates in my negotiations. Once I bought the house, every estimate from the inspection report has been astronomically lower than what I've been quoted by contractors. After I got estimates from the contractors, I called to complain to Core and the service person from Core simply raised their voice and quoted the fine print. They had no interest in helping me. They misled me on the cost of repairs and the state of the damages.
