Whether in store or online, there is no way to adequately explain the sheer absurdity of dealing with ************************************************ I have been shopping there, begrudgingly, since 2016 as they seem to have a monopoly on school uniforms for the entire *************** system in the ******** area. My recent experiences prompting my review:Ordering online in the summer. Order was lost for several weeks (ship to store) without a tracking number. Was told by corporate after several phone calls (no one in store answers phone in August!) that they do not provide tracking info because uniforms arrive in large parcels that cant be tracked. Verbatim. I also received an email that said do not go to the store until they email you directly ?? Who - on this green earth- conducts business like this in the year 2024?Quality. Never good to begin with but has gone down significantly. Namely: girls size 8 1/2 skort is larger than girls size 12 skort. Have photos. Boys size 18husky pants are the same size (held them up next to each other) at the waist as boys size 20 husky, save, perhaps, less than 1/4 inch in the hips. Stains do not come out of polo shirts unless there is some magic wand they sell in the back to remove them. Return/exchange policy: apparently, one cannot exchange items purchased from the website for in-store merchandise. Like any normal retailer. I tried to exchange items from said summer order for proper sizes and were told that it was two different systems (online vs store ??) and had to buy new items. my credit card from the summer purchase would be refunded but Id have to pay for the new items upfront. My refund may take several days to process. What in the 1990s malarkey is this?! Even exchange, anyone? Again, overpaying for extremely subpar quality product. How this company is still in business baffles my mind. How more parents have not spoken up and escalated within the Arch equally baffles the mind.Review from Ann M

We have been getting uniforms at Flynn for 5 years now as no other choice. Service is terrible, I hate going there. The staff are not engaged, looked unhappy with their job and not reliable. Every year it's the same!We went there 2 weeks ago, My son tried on short sleeves polo. I told the staff we will buy 3 of those, gave me 2 as that was all they have. I was about to wash them when I saw they were long sleeves. So we went back there again to return/exchange. No short sleeves available so we had to order and pay shipping! What kind of company is this? What kind of service is that? We went back to the store because their staff is so unreliable and could not be trusted and we have to pay shipping to correct their mistake. Horrible. I hope there would be another company that can make uniforms for schools. They need a competition. One year, we ordered online to avoid going to the store. Package came with bugs inside, we took it out and opened it outside of our house and sprayed with bug spray! Unbelievable! ALL SCHOOLS BEWARE I ordered summer uniform skorts for my daughter on July 27th and was told in store that the product was available but not in the store and that I would receive the skorts 1wk later in store. On July 31st strangely I received an email that unfortunately the skorts are now on backorder and it may be up to 8 weeks before receipt which would almost be time for my daughter to change to her winter uniform. I was confused so I called the Atlanta GA store. It was then I learned that no employee in the store has access to know what is really available at the warehouse, they can only place the order. Not only did they place the order on the 27th they charged my card nearly 600 bucks with no issue. I called customer service and spoke to a representative. She informed me while looking at the system there was NO ETA on when the skorts would be available and there could be several orders ahead of mine. I asked her how are you taking orders and you don't know what products you have to fulfil them? I told her this is illegal and considered bait and switch. You either have the product when someone pays money for it or you properly tell your customer you don't have the product and you allow them to make a decision on ordering at that time. There is no alternative. I asked to speak to a manager. The customer service manager came on the phone telling me the exact same story on "how their process works". So in a nutshell when the product is not available in store and you place an order through the warehouse IN STORE, no one has any idea what products are available or accounted for. When it gets processed at the warehouse, the customer service manager also doesn't know what products are available either. The customer service manager informed me they allow orders to keep being placed because they know people need their uniforms... somehow however they forgot they need to tell people the truth if the product even exist BEFORE TAKING MONEY! I had the pleasure of speaking with this customer. Due to the custom nature of the products we sell and the need for us to provide the product to the customer even if we have to have it manufactured for the customer we do have customers pay for the order when it is placed. The order she placed was on back order for about 4 business days and we shipped the order to our Atlanta store per her request on 8-5-2024. I offered to ship the order to ********************** home for her inconvenience but her preference was for me to ship it to the store. Although the item was not in stock when the order was placed we were able to get the skirts in Ms. ******** hands within days.Review from Mazal A.

It was our first visit to the store. I wanted to thank Representatives ********************* and **************** who helped us make purchase all necessary items. It took quite some time and the staff was incredibly patient and professional! I would gladly give 5 stars to the staff and the service, however I gave four stars because the quality of the cloth used and the cut of the blazer and skirt could be and should be worked on!Thank you!Flynn & O'Hara Uniforms Response

School year guarantee a complete lie. The website states “If you’re not completely satisfied with the way a FlynnO’Hara uniform item is holding up within a year of purchase, we’ll replace it with an identical item at no charge.” An embroidered uniform I purchased developed a hole in the front - I called customer service regarding their school year guarantee and the person who answered stated it is only meant for manufacture defects not wear and tear. No where on the website is this stated and this is not what the guarantee states on their websites. False deceptive guarantees.Review from Jen H

**BEWARE***I have been a customer for 8 years and the I have never had an issue. This year was a nightmare. I paid for 2 jumpers back in August and I still have not received my order. I was never notified about the delay in my purchase. I had to reach out for updates. I will never purchase anything from this company.Review from EL S

Second year in a row that we’ve waited months and months for our order. This year, I ordered 4/2 and as of 9/18, we are still waiting. Not sure why they are so bad. Meanwhile, they don’t charge your card when it ships, but rather when order is placed. So they are just holding our money.Flynn & O'Hara Uniforms Response

Dear Ms. Solak, I am so sorry for the delay in your second order that you placed on June 20, 2022. These 2 jumpers are on backorder from the manufacturer until 10-10-2022. Placed our order on July 13, at the time of order we were informed that it takes 5-7 days for them to process the order. They charged my credit card right away for the full amount. Up until August 11 we were told they were out of silk screens for our school logo. OK. Silkscreens came on August 11. It is evening on Friday, August 26, our school starts on Tuesday, and our order still has not been shipped. They can't tell me why and have no plans to expedite it. They keep telling me "in the next few days" and recommended that my son should wear some other clothes to school. How nice. Unfortunately they are a monopoly because our school uses them as the only vendor, however I am making sure our school leadership knows about this and hope they will add another uniform vendor.Review from Elizabeth M.

This was the best experience I have had at Flynn OHara. Almost allmerchandise was in stock-shopping for two schools. There many Attentive, kind & helpful staff on hand to assist. Greg, Marissa, Olivia and Chris helped us and were excellent at their job. I Just want to note that Greg was great . He was very knowledgeable with measuring for high school jackets and sizing. I asked Greg if he worked for this company for a while and he said yes I then told him he helped us our first time at FlynnO’Hara when my son was in the first grade and I haven’t forgotten him because he was fantastic and that Flynn O’Hara is very lucky to have him employed with them. After the last two years this shopping experience has definitely redeemed my confidence with Flynn O’Hara.
