  An inheritance from my dad gave me underground mining royalty rights. EQT lead me to believe they were purchasing the rights to mine for oil and gas, and pay periodic royalties for same.. The check that came stated that they now owned the rights forever, no royalties for me.

  I own oil and mineral rights with my brother and sister. Three of us split the share because it was my mother's who passed away several years ago. They sent my brother and sister a check June 9, 2022. I've yet to receive my 1/3 of the payment. I have been contacting this company through phone calls and emails since June 14, 2022 and every excuse possible has been used to avoid me. The last excuse was that they were not using the land at the time so they were trying to decide if they should send me a check, although they sent my brother and sister a check and still owe us 1/3 they haven't paid.

  My brother, cousin and I own the oil and gas lease for some property in West Virginia. EQT has been leasing this land and in Dec. 2021 my brother received a check from them for the renewal of this lease for his share. Not sure of the date, but my cousin also received his share a little later but I have received nothing. I have contacted them repeatedly and been told various things. 1. They didn't have the correct address and check was probably lost in mail. They received my address change on the form they asked for on 1/18/2022 (I have the certified receipt). 2. 1/26 I called them and was told they had received the address change and would cut a check to me on 1/29. 3. 2/10 I called and told them I had not received the check. Said to wait it was just taking the mail a little longer. Waited till 2/.28 and called and was told they would look into it and stop payment on that check and reissue a new one. Told she would get back to me with information on it. Never heard from her againl. 4. On 3/3 I talked to a Chris who said he would check and get back to me. Never heard from him. 5. 3/7/2022 I called and talked to an Amy who said she would send the check request to an Erin for that Wed distribution and would get back to me. Never heard from her again. This check is around $22,000 and I would like to have it. If you need, the case # with EQT is ****** and the lease # is *********.

  I called and talked to a Chris at EQT today.  He said my check was sent to the wrong address and they have now voided that check and will correct the address which will take about a week and then another check will be cut.  I will not hold my breath.
