  I hired this company to fix a leak. He came out with a pack of shingles to do my roof. Only installed one shingle with glue not nails. Took my check. Stated that he had fixed the leak. 3 week later. Roof was leaking. I called him and he stated that there was no warranty on his work. He fraudulently said he fixed roof leak and took my money.

  It was our recommendation to tear off and redo this section of roof. There were multiple issues that were not consistent with todays roofing standards. We brought these issues to ***************** attention and gave our reasons and recommendation for a new roof. We explained that any repair work would not be warrantied and would not last for any length of time. I specifically expressed that a repair on his roof would hopefully get him through the winter months but would likely leak again again eventually. *************** opted for the repair stating he had replaced this roof himself less than 5 years ago and didn't need a full replacement. I found the location of the leak, removed the damaged shingles in the area and replaced them with new shingles using 1-1/4 coil roofing nails. Additionally. i used all weather silicone for added protection. The repair lasted through the winter months as stated. We have done several full roof replacements on this very block/street. ******************** *******************************, **************** ************************ and ******************* ************************. 10 year warranty not one complaint. If you would like to proceed with the recommended full roof replacement (at least in that specific front section area) i will be happy to deduct the cost $250.00 of the repair from the total cost of a full replacement and provide with you our standard 10 year warranty

  I am rejecting this response because: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO NOT LET THIS MAN DO YOUR ROOFING WORK. HE IS ONE OF THE ROOFER THAT WILL NOT FIX YOUR LEAK AND MAKE UP A REASON TO CHARGE YOU THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WITH A LOW BALL PRICE TO GET YOU TO BUY A NEW ROOF. HE CHARGED ME 275. TO FIX A LEAK THAT DID NOT LAST FOR 1 RAIN, BEFORE IT LEAKED AGAIN. I WATCHED HIM HE HAD NO HAMMER OR NAILS. HE BROUGHT A PACK OF SHINGLES AND USED 1 SHINGLES. HE THEN SAID THAT HE WOULD REFUND ME A 100.00 DOLLARS WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED. HE DOES NOT TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT HIS OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT HE HAS WORKED ON. I HAD MY 5YR OLD ROOF LEAK FIXED BY ANOTHER CONTRACTOR. IF YOU HAVE 1 LITTLE LEAK DO LET HIM TELL YOU NEED A NEW ROOF AT 2,000 TO 4,000 DOLLARS. MY ROOF  LEAK BEEN FIXED 2 MONTH AGO AND HAVE NO LEAKES. DO NOT BE TAKEN BY FRAUD  LIER ROOFER LIKE HIM. HE NEEDS MONEY BAD. BUSINESS IS NOT GOOD. HE IS RIPING PEOPLE OFF NOW.
