I purchased my truck in July from NorthPointe Automotive in Seneca Pa. The truck was 42k and I placed a 2k down payment on it. Within 2 weeks of having the truck the brake system failed and threw a code and the check engine light is on. It limits the speed of the vehicle, pulls hard to the left, and isn’t safe for my family. It’s been in and out of NorthPointe for 3-4 months, about 4-5 times of “being fixed” and the issue is still happening. My wife and I went to make an agreement with them to trade the vehicle but they expect us to pay 10k more than the ticket price on a different vehicle or they fix the truck we have but make us pay for all repairs. They aren’t even certain what the issue is. With being a disabled Veteran money is tight and we don’t know a set fixing price. Ideally, they should fix it without cost to us, or let us trade for the ticket price of a vehicle and let my 2k down payment transition over and let my payments from July also transition over to a different vehicle. We’re very open to options but need them to cooperate and help seeing as this is very much a long ongoing issue. My salesman throughout this process has been Matt H*****, he has been understanding and great.

Our service department has worked with this customer through out the entire time he has had a problem. Unfortunately you cannot just "return" a used vehicle. We will continue to work with the customer to see that his issue is resolved.

In February I had front axle issues with a ram 2500 tradesman. The truck was at Northpointe Chrysler for weeks. When returned things started going wrong within two days. This is a dealership is certified shop doing ram warranty work. I took the truck back for what they said was computer issues and now it's torn apart with no transmission. No answer from ram/Chrysler or Northpointe to when I may receive a repaired truck. They no have been hanging up when I call. This has been going on since February and between ram and Northpointe I just got an enterprise loaner vehicle the end of June.

    ******** :
Thank you for your time this morning in reviewing Mr. ******* concerns with his vehicle and the delay in it's  repair.
This vehicle has been with us since 4/28/2022 and was towed in for repairs including and not limited to transmission not
shifting. Upon repair to the differential and being able to test drive the vehicle, the transmission also had internal issues.
At this point we contacted Chrysler for a transmission. The date was May 28th. when we ordered only to be informed that
there were no transmissions available .

We contacted Chrysler for any and all available solutions, only to find the following:
    No complete transmissions
    NO reman transmission
    No aftermarket  transmission
No parts available to rebuild this transmission
Chrysler has this vehicle on VOR (vehicle off road ) and a complete transmission ordered with a date of 8/24 however this date
    changes weekly.

We will do everything possible to repair this vehicle as soon as possible when parts are available.

Thank you for your patience on this matter and the assurance to  Northpointe that there is no negative contacts against our
    dealership.

    Thank-you

    Dean *. W*****
