Contracted **** to complete a partial kitchen remodel including a quartz counter install. **** tore out most of the kitchen and did not come back for 3 months. During that time he provided fake updates and excuses. Despite eventually doing a very nice job on a feature wall, he was terminated for numerous reasons. The quartz was significantly damaged during installation (major gouges, black marks, chips and cracks), he did not properly template the counter (slabs were cut way too short and the sink cut out looks like it was done free-hand). The entire counter needs ripped out and replaced. He miscalculated the opening of the frig cabinet, frig doors won't open. Stove won't slide in flush due to mismeasured counter top. Poured grout materials down the kitchen sink and seized the garbage disposal. Installed dimmer switches upside down. Paid him $2,000 for an under the counter drawer microwave which he never purchased and refuses to reimburse. The final straw was coming home in the dark to my front door wide open with lights on -- don't trust him with your keys. This has been a year long nightmare. After agreeing to a fair settlement, **** has gone silent.

CON ARTIST, THIEF, LIAR! Not Contractor. Woods Constr.,******************************************* Lie after lie for 8 months. **** constantly said he was coming to work & equipment was being delivered. 95% of the time he never showed up. On 12/9/23 we complained that he does not follow through. He apologized in a text for such a rough ridiculous start & promised to be at our home Mon 12/11 that he does good work & wants to make us happy. We decided to give him another chance. We pd **** $31K and still Excuse after excuse. He left bottom 4ft across front & support beams hanging & we finished tearing off porch & porch roof. Mar24, he wanted to start tearing off siding but we still didnt have a front porch & said NO, you need to complete porch. We didnt want to be without porch & siding. We then made Woods get a So Shenango Twp permit before he continued. Woods told Twp & listed on permit that porch job cost is $40K. Jul24 he finally poured concrete slab that has complete wrong elevation, joints are not straight, siding & windows on porch splattered w/cement. Concrete forms were left on edge of concrete slab & there is not enough overhang. Cement block steps are 2 out of sq. Everywhere is uneven or unfinished. Two reputable contractors both agreed Woods did no more than $10K of work of poor craftsmanship. We want a refund of $21K. We fired Woods 7/19/24 & requested a refund. Woods said he has $15K in custom lumber pkg & where do we want it delivered. He texted 7/23/24 he will setup delivery for lbr pkg. 7/25 no lbr pkg. He said delivery wont be until next wk. We said that we wanted to see it first & speak to the supplier & asked for company info before delivery. **** said he doesnt have a # but can get an address. We reached 7/26 & 7/29 for info. To date, nothing! Just another lie! Woods is the most dishonest person we ever met. He has at least $21K of our money he DID NOT EARN OR USE TO PAY FOR A CUSTOM LUMBER PKG. WORST EXPERIENCE IN OUR LIFETIME
