Not recommended for business insurance. First off they did not cover my roof collapsing from water damage because they said it was not caused by wind or a tree falling through the roof. The agent knew we rented, and our insurance policy should have been written to cover everything within the four walls of the rental facility in the plaza. Sadly, that was not the case. I paid for the repairs out of pocket. ($11,500). Then Erie/DAy wrote our workers comp policy. They were given the previous insurance companies policy and there were no changes to be made. They wrote the policy and a year later, after we cancelled Erie/DAy Insurance an audit was performed in which our business received a bill for $2,300. Based on these two scenarios, it would appear that this agent wrote the policies and underquoted so they could get the business. For 2 policies to come back under quoted and neither one being satisfied by the monthly payments made to Erie/Day, (workers comp was $4,000) it seems pretty suspicious. I would not recommend this company based on deceitful insurance quoting practices. Immediately, we went back to the original insurance company. Even if you think you're saving money, this is proof that is not the case.
