Last year, paid him $3000 to remove brush from ********* and spray. His ad says, " We take care of weeds so they do not return." July 26,2022 They returned. Call and he came over. Estimate for some weed clearing and to fulfill his guarantee. He gave me 1 $1,500. then text "I'm sorry , $1650 still have to spray the back."He came to clear the brush and then walked out. What we had discussed for the estimate, he now said "I can't do it for that amount."As he walked away I said," What about the back?"He said, "If you say'please'?I said,"I'll take it up with the BBB.1) He was going t0 charge me for respray. He had a guarantee it wouldn't return.Resolve... needs to respray with no charge. 2) Needs to reemburse me $400 dollars for trees being so high, I hired neighbors to cut and weed whack before my township fined me. Township doesn't allow weed over 2 ft.( I have copies of checks and pictures if yu need me to email them to you.)3)Also, his ad seays"Senior discount".Last year and this year he never sent an estimate . also, no printed first price, then senior discount. Something seems shady. Please ***** his paper work on mine and others.4) Respraying cost. Seems shady. If he doesn't spray it right, and then charges for respray...that's a sham. Seems like he's taking advantage of people.I can give you neighbors phone numbers and names if you need them.Person I dealt with at Red Rose Landscaping was *******************************.

He gave me a price that I assumed included mulching. Keith E*********** did not give me a written estimate. He came this morning between 6:30 and 6:45 and was done at 8:00 cost $750. When I ask abt senior discount he said that was the discount price. He did not give me a receipt for payment which I forgot to ask for. I showed him several places he needed to redo. He’s also said it needs mulch but when he was done I ask about it and he said no mulch that is a whole different ballgame. He seemed to be in a hurry to leave but I didn’t think too much. For $750 in should have included mulch.

The customer called me to give a quote on trimming of shrubs around her house as well as taking down one large overgrown shrub. As we were walking along the area, I let the customer know she really could use mulch. After seeing she was not interested in mulch, I moved on. That was my only mention of mulch, the fact that she does need it. Fast forward we come to an agreement on price. $750. She agreed. I said I will start in the morning. I arrive in the morning, bright and early as I always do, and complete the job. Trimming, taking and removing all debri. I let her know I was finished with the job to which point she mentioned mulch and I reminded her we never reached an agreement on mulch. She paid and I left. I could tell she was not thrilled that I completed the job fast. Whether it took me an hour or all day the job we agreed to was done.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: His job was not professional but sloppy.   He did not properly trim bushes because they are uneven and when I said something about it he just made it more noticable.  The weeds in the back were never touched on the one side. Neighbors could not believe how much I paid and the sloppy job he did.  I would never recommend him to anyone.

    Regards,
