The bottom line is that Health Transport Partners, an ambulance company turned a nonexistent bill over to a collection agency! I received a phone call from ****** at ************************, a collections agency (PO Box ***, Shoemakersville, PA *****) on September 26, 2022. She claimed I owed $400.00 for a bill to Health Transport Partners (HTP) for ambulance transportation which took place on March 30, 2022. I told her I had never received a bill from HTP for this service. Furthermore, HTP never contacted me in any way about this supposed bill. I pulled my Explanation of Benefits from ******** and my secondary coverage and found proof that the bill had been paid in full (information attached) in April 2022. In other words, HTP turned a nonexistent bill over to a collection agency! I spoke to ********************************* at HTP, and she claimed they couldn't have contact with me since the bill had been turned over to a collections agency. I am asking why HTP never informed me about the nonexistent bill, an apology, and reimbursement of $300.00 ($75.00 x 4 hours) for having to do HTP's work (because the idiots there failed to do their job!); the work includes preparing a cover letter to ************************, pulling the Explanation of Benefits, and driving to the public library to print and make copies. HTP can claim I was nasty to them (and I was); the bottom line is they failed to do due diligence. ************************ has failed to respond to my correspondence sent on October 11, 2022 and November 3, 2022, and I will be filing another complaint about that.

We are in receipt of the attached consumer complaint. We have been unable to resolve the issue with the complainant due to her profanity laced combative phone calls to our office and Accounts Advocate's office. At least one phone call ended with the complainant delivering a prolonged high-pitched scream into the phone.
The complainant's debt has been discharged, as the amount owed is simply not worth the excruciating pain of attempting to interact with the complainant.
    Sincerely,

    Customer response

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

************************* wrote: “The complainant’s debt has been discharged…”

Since I had no debt with this company, it is impossible to discharge a debt!  It is impossible to discharge a bill which never existed.

Nothing will be resolved between Health Transport Partners and me until the following takes place:

************************* will send me a letter directly which indicates the following:
    1.       He will acknowledge his company never sent me a bill or contacted me to discuss this matter.
    2.       He will acknowledge his company never could and never can collect money from me.
    3.       He will acknowledge that a nonexistent **** was sent to the collection agency.

The truth is: this situation has gotten too hot for ************************* because the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General has assigned a case number to my complaint against this company; **** thinks he can get out of this by declaring the debt has been discharged. Health Transport Partners engaged in egregious behavior and must  be held accountable.

    Regards,

    ***********************
