On January 14, 2022, I rented a car from Allied Car & Truck Rental on ***** ***** ********** ******** *** *******, in Carolina, Puerto Rico. On-site at the car rental company, I specified that I wanted total car coverage, and the clerk produced a rental agreement. The agreement included Collision Damage Waiver, SLI waver, Road Assistance, and Tolls. This company charged my credit card $********. Initially, It was unusual for me to cancel my credit card and have another one reissued due to suspicious activity from Allied Car & Truck Rental. The rental company has failed to provide a document indicating the reasons for any of the expenses. Further, it is unclear to me concerning the company that insured my rental vehicle. It would be helpful to identify if the parent company Routes is aware of their Unfair Business practices. I have tried to communicate with a gentleman named ********* ******. However, he is unclear and does not provide solid answers to my questions. Furthermore, there are inconsistencies in the transaction. I will upload my documents once this company provides information related to this transaction.

Our records shows that this rental ********* was returned with damages and for this reason we charged him. I have attached the estimate and photos submitted by our claims department as evidence.

Good Morning BBB,
We already requested a police report and informed Mr.***** about the damages on the rental unit.
This claims still open and I have forwarded all the documents and photos provided by our claims department as evidence.
We are just following the company policy and the customer is responsible for the damages on this unit, as per the terms and conditions stipulated on the rental agreement that he signed.

I am rejecting this response because this company was not clear from the beginning. Again, Allied Car & Truck Rental would need to provide an explanation related to the company that was insuring me. I specifically asked on January 14, 2022 that it was vital to have full coverage on the vehicle. Another matter of great concern is the fact that this company tried to fraudulently get $**** and $*****; those transactions were flagged and stopped due to suspicious activity. Why did they try to do this? Bank of America’s fraud department alerted me to the fact that on 01/26/2022 those transactions fell through. Mr. ********* ******, manager of Allied Car & Truck Rental evaded my calls and when we spoke he was vague and referred me to someone else. Further, I need to see pictures of the entire interior of that car and when those estimates were done.
