    I made a "prepaid" reservation on November 26 2023 for the Sixt Car Rental at *********************, ******************, ********* *****, Puerto ***** near the ************ ** airport. I then called to make sure they'll have a vehicle that will accommodate 6 adults. They have never ever answered the phone. I started reading about Six Car Rental reviews, and realized this is an awful company with cars in poor condition, poor customer service. Therefore, I decided to cancel my prepaid reservation. That's when I learned there was a $279.29 cancellation fee out for a $733.37 8 days reservation!! Such cancellation fee is not obvious when you pay for the prepaid reservation. I want my money back; $279.29!!0000 stars

    Dear BBB, we appreciate your communication to us regarding this customer.  Customer never came to our branch to pick up vehicle nor did he contact us.  The fact that he is a Sixt Express member with **************** renting in the past, customer automatically cancelled online using his App for Sixt and agreed to the cancellation fee. We also strive to provide great service, yet this case is out of our control upon a customer automatically cancelling and agreeing to the amount retained before officially cancelling on his Sixt application.  We hope to have this case resolved.     I rented a car on 5/13/2023 returned it on 5/15/2023 my deposit has yet to hit my account I've called SIXT rental car over 15 times since I've been back home and I get a different thing every time I call I need to wait **** days I've done that I called on 6/3/2023 and asked for a authorization code for the deposit they stated they was going to send me and email here it is 6/7/2023 still haven't gotten the email I called today and they saying that my money has been released they connect me to the supervisor 4 times including when me and my bank called and the supervisor doesn't answer so I leave a voicemail My money was good when they took it off so why is it so hard release my money I don't understand

    Dear BBB,

    Thank you for contacting us since we continue to provide quality service.  I received email from customer and replied back yesterday and this morning requesting a rental agreement number or telephone number in order to assist customer.  Unfortunately, with the email and name on email, it is not possible to locate the rental agreement number.  As always mentioned, deposits are never charged but only put as a guarantee by their provider.  In order to review this situation, it is important to provide rental agreement number.  We hope to be able to get the information requested and verify customers complaint.  Thank you again

    Dear All, It is in our best interest to resolve issues since we provide quality service.  Unfortunately, unless we receive full information on customer, we are unable to address.  We are still pending information as to rental agreement number or full name of customer in order to assist.  We continue to request rental agreement since *********************** does not show up on our system as a renter. This customer may have rented outside of ********************** **** with a corporate branch and not ** as a franchise.  Please assist ** with this in order to resolve. Thank you

    I want to cancel today 5/4/2023. my reasons for cancellation is that I have a better offer at another car rental. I would like my full refund of $396.44 because I cancel 5 days before the 5/9/2023. THank You. *******

    Thank you for contacting us since we continue to provide quality service to all our customers.  Although we have never received an email from customer to resolve this issue, we have submitted a request to our corporate office in order to generate a GOODWILL cancellation.  Since our location has no access to the customers credit card, due to security reasons, we are unable to process refunds. We can assure that it will be processed in a reasonable time frame.  We appreciate customers cooperation understanding the process and proof of refund by **************** will be uploaded as soon as it is done.

    Dear all, We have received from our corporate office the ** number ******* which indicates refund was issued on 5/23/2023.  Customer must verify with their bank issuer for Mastercard ending in 466 regarding this refund which was finalized.
