    On March 19, 2024 I entered into the Subway App/Website to get an offer that stated that there was a free 6 inch sub with the purchase of a regular priced footlong. The offer was available from February 14th to April 23rd, 2024. I made two separate transactions, each one for a regular priced footlong, in order to obtain two free 6"subs. The advertisement indicated that "The discount is applied at the final step checkout". In each step I went thru the application up to the final step of checkout, but the system did not indicate any discount or any way to get the offer, thus, understanding that I would get the offer, I proceeded to pay. and took the receipt to the restaurant # *****, located at ***************** in *************************************. When I got there I told the employee that I had the offer and that I needed to order the free subs at the store since the Web application did not provide the information to order at the checkout. To my surprise the employee told me that this was not in the order and that he knew nothing about the application and that I had to check this with "them overt here", as if it were two separate companies. I told him that then I did not want my order and wanted my money back. The employee told me that it was not possible as the order was prepaid. I asked him to whom should I talk and he said "I don't know". After my experience I submitted formal requests, thru Subway Website, on March 20 and April 22, 2024, where I included all requested details, including store number, location, receipt # among others. As of June 4, 2024 no response have been received. I contacted Subway Puerto **** on May 27, ********************************************* to submit a formal request, which I told them that I had already submitted two times and just asked them to honor the offer. No further communication has been received. On 6/4/24 I informed them that I was referring the case to BBB. Misleading advertisement, poor communication and terrible customer service.
