A mistake was made by Anchor Nissan. Following the previous oil change, my brand new vehicle's engine is covered in oil and nearly out of oil due to the oil cover being left off. It is crucial how this is addressed. I am dissatisfied with their response of having me tow it in and call AAA, as I have exhausted my AAA tows and this should not be my burden. When I went over to chat with my salesman ********************* as I approached his cubicle he picked up his phone to appear busy. Completely unacceptable. He could have come talk to me for the hour I was in the waiting room, instead he completely ignored my request to discuss this situation. Update: just picked up my car. Not one apology or acknowledgment of any wrongdoing. Not one thought of the inconvenience of not having my vehicle for two days. No compensation for the $25 worth of oil I had to purchase to get the vehicle there without blowing the engine.

DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE HERE! DISHONEST! NO SERVICE AND NISSAN DOESNT EXPECT CARS TO BE RELIABLE!I purchased a car I was under the impression was a certified preowned vehicle here in the spring/summer. A few weeks ago the gear shift stopped working, making the car undrivable and stuck in the park position. I had the car towed. When brought into the dealership to be serviced, I was told it was not covered under the extended warranty I purchased at the point of sale. I asked what they thought was wrong with the vehicle and the rude service secretary told me its not what we think, its what we know. The Nissan dealership charged me for the half hour they looked at the vehicle while I sat waiting for two hours in the waiting room. They informed me the car needed a new shifter assembly. (soNissan parts arent built to last and you wont stand behind them in the least?!) I tried the 1-800-Nissan number and was informed there was nothing they could do, while the car was at one point certified preowned, it never was for me under my name, and the warranty sold to me by the dealership at the point of sale, was actually a third-party warranty. I called the warranty number and was told they simply wouldnt cover that part. I asked if a mechanic found an alternate reason for the issue could that mechanic make a new claim. They said no, unless myself and the mechanic were 40 miles away or more from the dealership. My reliable mechanic actually took a good look at the vehicle, found the contact points inside the shifter simply needed to be cleaned, did so, and now the car works. The complete lack of service for a vehicle they sold me LESS THAN A YEAR AGO AND WOULD NOT OPERATE, was insane and disgusting. The rude secretary did not in fact know what was wrong with it and I was about to be charged for a whole new shifter assembly the car did not actually need. Left team Nissan on this one. They really dont expect their cars to last.
