DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR. I hired him to replace a wooden fence with vinyl and the project was nothing short of a disaster. Orville and his team installed the vinyl fence crooked and incorrectly, creating uneven terrain where there the old fence used to sit straight and flat against the ground. As the project progressed, Orville became more challenging to get ahold of, frequently no-call/no-showing, and getting more careless with correcting issues. After the initial installation, the gates did not close properly. This was brought to Orville's attention numerous times but it would take multiple calls in order to get him to come back to address the issue. However, when he did, he would simply drill more holes in the vinyl to move or replace the latches, leaving unsightly holes in the vinyl fence. Even then, the solution was only temporary. Orville and his team also carelessly left trash and giant blocks of concrete and sawed off metal poles sitting in the backyard and would not respond when I asked him to remove them. He also did a botch-job with installing lattice on the deck since he didn't cut the pieces to size. When they popped out, he merely took a 2-by-4 that he found under the deck and nailed it to the back of the ill-fitting lattice to hold it in place. It looked horrible. It got to the point where calling Orville to correct the issues, with the gates or otherwise, was just making the problems worse. I had several fence contractors come out to give me estimates for the cost to fix Orville's work. All 3 fencing companies have stated that Orville installed the fence so poorly that the only solution would be to fully tear down the fence and reinstall correctly since he did not even connect the fence panels together. Several even laughed at the workmanship. I am getting estimates between $2,700 - $6,000 to fix Orville's work. I attempted to reach out to Orville to resolve the issue but he continues to show no interest or take pride in his work.
