Lawton Moving did an incredible job of making a stressful move as easy as possible for me. Booking the move was easy and **** even came out to provide an estimate of the cost. The crew that completed my move worked efficiently and made sure all of my belongings made it to our new home safely. Given the overall experience from start to finish, and the reasonable pricing, I recommend Lawton Moving to anyone reading this. If I move again I know who I will be calling!

I have used Lawton in the past and I needed to move furniture I had at a storage facility to ******. They sent 3 men and the truck. They did a great job quilting my belongs and packing them into the truck. I moved to a 2fl apartment without an elevator. They did a wonderful job with my items. I definitely recommend this company if your looking to move. This is my third move with them.Thanks to Lawtons.*******

I had the worst moving experience with this company. I had a few large pieces of antique furniture moved from ** to **. They sped through packing up everything in ** and I was surprised when I heard from my friend that they were already en route to my home in **. When I returned home that evening (my husband was home during the move), the first thing I saw were 3 large pieces of an armoire placed on top of my trash barrels outside with part of the facade laid on top. The remaining parts of the armoire were broken in multiple pieces. One shelf was missing. A painted bureau that had been in perfect condition prior was found to have a broken base that later completely collapsed. Three of the legs were split with missing shards. Another bureau had black streaks on the front. Finally, they were also unable to move an armoire out of a room, a piece was successfully moved into that same room years ago and that I was to deliver to a friend. This was absolutely the worst job I have ever seen. They do not even deserve one star. I provided detailed photo's of the broken parts to the company, but they made up their own version of the events and did not agree to a complete refund ($1280 with tip). They offered us $100 initially and then $300 when we protested. I now have to pay for the repairs and am not sure I will see any of the ******** parent's independent living facility required that I select a mover on their "trusted" list. My brother had used Lawton movers the week prior based on the price they offered him and their seeming nice to deal with on the phone. Had they been careful and gone more slowly, they certainly would have made more money. In the end it would have paid off for me.

We are sorry ********* had such a bad moving experience. At the beginning of each move customers can choose the liability they want for their move. She choose the one at no cost which is 60 cents per pound per article that is automatically included in the price of the move. We also tell our customers they can be self-insured, usually through their homeowners policy. The antique pieces of furniture she spoke of were assembled inside the unit. The armoire was meant to be assembled and disassembled for moving purposes. The armoire was not broken into multiple pieces. She had someone glue and s**** the pieces together permanently and put wooden shims so it would not wobble. That was the same situation with the armoire that she wanted to move to another address and she and her husband, ************************, decided not to move it for that reason. The person she left in charge of the move told the crew that they needed the armoire moved because they needed to vacate the unit. They were told that we could not reassemble the piece, and we would have no responsibility for that piece. They signed off on that. The painted bureau was not in perfect condition. It was extremely old and fragile and seems to have been painted multiple times. I am not sure why ********* and ************************ think they are entitled to a full refund for the move and reimbursement for the tip they gave the crew. Last time I checked a tip was given for good service. They also threaten us with posting bad reviews all over the internet if they do not get a full refund. They are entitled to the liability that they choose to take out. They were offered over and above that amount and they refused that. When I spoke with ************************, he never mentioned anything about a missing pair of gold earrings that she suspected were taken. If that was the case she should have called the authorities. ********* and ************************ have already started to post false reviews and we will end up speaking with a lawyer for slander. They are awesome. On the day of my move , the 3 man crew showed up on time and where extremely nice and very professional. They got right to work and I didnt see them stop until the move was completed five hours later. They even finished two hours below the total cost that was quoted to me. I just cant say enough about them. I will definitely use them again if I ever move again.
