Heres a rewritten version of your text with improved clarity and structure:On December 28, 2024, my wife and I purchased a part for my Nissan Rogue (part number 27749-4BU0A Stepper-Moto83C). This part is only available through the dealership. A well-known issue with Nissan Rogues is that this specific part often fails, resulting in only the drivers side blowing cold air; a problem I also intend to address with Nissan directly. After installing the part, we found that the air still did not blow hot, indicating that the replacement part was defective. However, when I attempted to return the defective part, which cost $30.58 (***** w/tax), Balise refused to accept it unless we agreed to pay for their diagnostic service, which costs over $100.This policy feels like a racket. It raises the concern that defective parts might intentionally be provided, though I hope that is not the case, forcing customers to spend additional money on diagnostics. Since this part is exclusively sold by Nissan, the lack of a reasonable warranty or return policy is especially ************ mechanic runs a reputable repair shop that many Cranston residents trust. For Balise to refuse to stand behind their products is unacceptable. Not only do I want a refund for the defective part, but I also urge Balise to revise this unfair practice for the benefit of all New England customers.

The store's General Manager was made aware of Mr. ****** concern and contacted him immediately. The part has been returned without any issues. Mr. ***** was unsure who at the store told him he could not return the part, and we will continue to investigate this matter to ensure it does not happen to another customer in the future.

While I have not yet returned the part yet. The first time we tried the manager was not present. We are back from vacation and will return the part.  The manager did say he would take the part back without question.  I bought the product a second time and the second part worked no question.  We will return the part this week.  Thank you for your assistance
