My last water heater was about 15 years old and it was leaking water which lead us to have to have a brand new one put in through Dominion energy/ enbridge gas company. Please keep in mind that enbridge gas bought out Dominion energy and why I’m saying two names . However, when replacing my new water heater, they did not replace the regulator, which was as old as the last water heater. When they put the new water heater in, I always smelt a very slight smell of gas near it, but the light would never blink to show a leak which led me to believe that there was nothing wrong. The new water heater was put in last April and still making payments on the water heater through enbridge gas. On 14 January that morning we woke up with headaches because the water heater is in my room and my two-year-old sleeps with me. The smell started getting stronger that day, still the light was not showing any sort of leak. I called emergency Dominion / enbridge and they sent someone out within an hour. He checked there was a leak by the regulator. He wouldn’t let us keep the regulator. Luckily, I took pictures of it Before he left. You can definitely tell from the pictures that it is old and should have been replaced at the time of the new water heater replacement. From all my research I’ve done it says that it’s standard practice to replace the old regulator when a new water heater is put in, especially when you can clearly tell that the regulator is worn/ old. I called Dominion energy enbridge gas Today at January 21 , I told them I should not have to pay the $130 that they charged me for replacing the very old regulator that should’ve been replaced to begin with And they told me that they’re not supposed to replace the regulator as it’s not part of the water heater.. That was their answer that they gave me over the phone. I do have pictures of the regulator but I do not want to post them on here as I don’t want them to be tampered with as I may need them in the future.

Never in my 47 years of living have I had to pay $286 for a deposit to get electricity on.. are we not All God's children that's supposed to be treated with respect and kindness how does this fall in that category ripping people off when we're already starving to death I only eat once a day as it is because the government inflation .. so Dominion energy is doing inflation on people that are already starving and dying and homeless I was homeless for 3 months before I even got this place so I got to cough up $286 I don't even have.. I paid my bill every single month for the last 20 years so why do I have to pay a deposit if I've been your customer that long so obviously you don't care about none of your customers you don't care if anybody even gets electricity on it so good luck in hell cuz that's where you guys are headed for ripping people off for no reason whatsoever I can see if I never paid my bills yeah good luck thanks for nothing

They were clearly not prepared for Hurricane Helene. 8 days later the power in our subdivision has yet to be restored. SCEG refuses to provide any status as to when restoration maybe expected. Many surrounding homes serviced by SCE&G have restored power. Dominion's website states they're focus is the hardest hit areas. These homes were not as affected as some who remain without.

After Hurricane Helene they are clearly not prepared for anything. Florida had 3 million without power, within 24 hrs it was down to 500k. In Aiken SC we are on day 3... Most of the county has no power and we check the outage map hourly... We have 1.25 million without power... After 3 days they are bragging about getting 200k power back. WTF?!?! Watching the areas that were barely hit get full service restored while nothing is happening here. We drive around town... Literally see 2 crews of about 3 people working. Unacceptable. Period. I hope the State investigates this company for negligence. Send some crews to the HARDEST hit areas .... Don't focus on businesses 1st focus on residents who are suffering, throwing away 100s in food products, sweating in 90 degree temps with 80% humidity. They are literally unprepared and doing everything backwards.

I recently sent an electronic payment to Dominion, unfortunately an additional number was added to the payment, so instead of 346.12 it was cashed by Dominion for 3461.23 which they gladly accepted. I have been calling them since July 25th to try and get my money back and they have stone walled me since. The excuses were had to wait for check to clear, originally telling me 10 business days, they have since taken another payment for August, now telling me I can’t get my money back until August 21st, they’ve basically have my money for a month and they have lied to me first telling me 10 business days but actually it’s more like 21 days

I paid them $50 for a seasonal parking at their boat ramp at the damn on Lake Murray. The third time I tried to park there, I was turned away because the parking lot was 2/3 full and by manager’s standers it was full. I reached out to the manager of lake management and he said that is the new rules and no refunds. Is it me or is this an unfair business practice by a large energy company?

In July 2023, I was notified through the Credit Bureau that Dominion Energy reported a “charge off” status for my account (3-2101-3317-1599.) Dominion Energy refuses to remove the “charge off” status from my credit report after numerous attempts with customer service via email. I am disputing this debt because I never received a bill or notice. I do not reside at the residence the bill was sent, and I had no knowledge of the bill. I have never lived at the home address where the bill was sent. Dominion was aware that the property was a rental property and had my physical address in another state, where they sent other mail correspondence for another rental property. I wish to settle this debt in full without prejudice in return for removing the “charge-off” status with all and any credit reporting agency you have reported to. I am a service-connected disabled veteran, and this is impacting my livelihood (credit score). It is unethical, and the customer service lacks empathy for their customers.
