    I booked this hotel through *******. I got there that night and was refused service due to being a local. I was told by the man at the front desk to call ******** and they would call them to get my Money back. I called ******* and they supposedly sent a request to the manager for my refund. So no hotel for the night. No credit or immediate refund. This all happened on 9/1/24 9/3 Expedia sends me a message that they can’t reach the manager, so I’m out of luck and they won’t be providing a refund. I called the hotel and she refuses to connect me to a manager. Knowing what the call was about.

    I reserved a room at this business directly through *******, not through the business address front desk. This is the first time making a reservation. I was never told to call if I couldn’t check in. They are refusing to give me a refund.

    I originally booked my reservations with *********** as we always do. And we got a call from a family member saying my dad had maybe a month to live. So I immedi****y starting changes all my previous made plans which we made a lot from now to Christmas. I called the hotel to try to cancel and they said needed to do it through ***********. I called *********** and they said no problems if the hotel will allow it. Mind you this is 5 weeks before that paid for vaction. They have plenty of time to fill my room because its a big clemson football game that weekend. Well *********** told me the manager denied my request to cancel even though I told them we have a family emergency. The gal was very rude and hung up on me twice when I was asking to speak to the manager. She said she's not in and she can't give me an email or anyway to contact her. She said she would give her my number to have her call me back. No response. Now I have sent the owner Raj P**** an email about the. And asked him why his employees don't have any compassion for my situation let alone why they are so hell bent on sticking me to a cost I can't do anything about. So im out my money because my dads more important at this point. I pray nobody has to get the call saying, "say your goodbyes to all you want to sooner than later. This has hit my family like a ton of bricks. All we asked was to please let us cancel and if you cant book it id lose . If you can book it then please refund me. I have never had this type of treatment in all my years of business. Please let me know if you can help. Thank you so much. P.S. I had a bbb a+ membership before I retired from work recently. Thanks for any help ..
