My wife and I purchased a 2011 Yamaha Stryker after driving almost 3 hours to buy a bike that had been sold. We were told my Jason Belton that once the bike went through service I’d be able to test ride it. Neither of which happened but that’s not the worst part. The bike we purchased was listed on Facebook for $545.00 cheaper than the contract stated. (Have screenshots of post). Even had an attorney look at the contract to make sure I wasn’t looking at it wrong. Tried contacting the salesman with no call back. Emailed them same day. Attempted to reach manager on 9/06/24 and call wasn’t returned. Tried again today and left on hold and no one came to the phone

The customer agreed to the selling price of $5995 as stated in their attachment of the purchase order.

No further response needs to be given.

We were rushed through the paperwork as I was told the bike was going through service. I have provided proof of the bike listing price. The salesman didn’t even tell me the price. You are further proving the point that your salesman posted a motorcycle for a price and then you added to it. I’ve spoken to an attorney and the local media and if I am not refunded I will take civil and public action against you.

The price was clearly listed on the buyers order that was signed by the customer after the deal was negotiated with the sales person.  The price was also listed on several other documents, including the retail installment contract that was signed by the customer.

The price as you can see is clearly marked on the post. Your salesman never “negotiated” anything nor did he say the price was anything different than he clearly listed. You clearly do not care about your customers as told by your reviews and your lack of service nor do you have any integrity. I’ve already contacted and spoken with the news media and retained an attorney to resolve this matter. It is ridiculous that you can’t simply honor what your salesman listed the bike for. It’s bad enough that no service took place and the bike has damage. You should be ashamed of yourself.

i bought a $16,000 2010 cvo street glide 1 year ago from them put only 500 miles on it every thing worked on it over $5,000 in chrome and after market lights etc. traded it for something more comfortable for the wife ended up with a 2010 ultra glide they had listed for $11,000. ok all good. THEN i get home and none of the handle bar controls work the radio turns on by itself with the bike off. the clutch feels like it's slipping and still had to finance $4.000 so i lost about $10,000 not counting all the repairs I'll have to get fixed

I went and traded my motorcycle on a motorcycle with a trike kit and paid a deposit and owed some money with a agreement for payment 4 days later I bring my motorcycle and cash back to pick up my new motorcycle and after picking up my new motorcycle I noticed the bolts on the trike kit backed out like they tried to remove them which wasn’t like that when I initially looked at it and signed paperwork I went inside and told them about the bolts only to be told oh well nothing that we are going to do about it now I have a new motorcycle that I am concerned for my safety to ride

    Business response

    04/01/2024

Mr. T***** purchased the motorcycle as-is with no warranty implied or expressed.  Having said that, customer satisfaction is a top priority.  We will gladly re-check the bolts if the customer would like to bring the motorcycle by our store.

    Thanks,

    Brandon C******

I brought a bike from Capital City Cycles on 7/12 /2023. Before I brought the motorcycle which is a used 2019 Harley Davidson, I was told it was nothing wrong with it and everything works. I was also told that the bike had to go through inspection and be cleaned before being released to me. I waited for hours before the bike was released to me. The salesman who name was Frank, said “you are a hard customer”. This is base off the fact I was trying to work a deal on the bike before buying it. After buying the bike he said it was going through inspection and cleaned. After finally getting the bike, I drive not even five miles and the check engine light comes on, the speakers in the baggers don’t work, the radio goes out when I accelerate, the air compressor stop working, on top of all of that it was mud all in the baggers and the bike look like it was barely touched. the bike had to be returned back. I was told everything would be taken care of. One week later the bike is still there and I’m calling almost like every day about the bike. The salesman and his leadership were pushing me off on the service department telling me to talk to them it’s protocol. I was told to just take the bike until the guy who can fix it comes back to work. Bad idea, the bike started getting worse so I had to take it back again. After days of the bike being there I called my salesman again and he was of little help and concern. He actually cuss me on the phone, his exact words were “I’m trying to get your fucking bike fixed”. Which in turn made me more irritate about the situation. So basically I’m the customer who buys a bike for over 30k with interest and undisclosed deflects, being told misleading information. When I try to talk to salesman he doesn’t care because the deal is made and the leadership (Brandon) says it’s normal to buy things that cost a lot of money and it has to be taken back to get fixed. After all of this I still don’t have my bike.

Mr. ***** did purchase the motorcycle from Capital City Cycles.  Attached is a copy of the as-is no warranty form that Mr. ***** signed.  However, Capital City Cycles is still trying to help Mr. ***** resolve a few issues that he expressed concern about.  Mr. ***** does not understand that service is by appointment and that there is no guarantee when the work will be completed because of parts being ordered and diagnostic being performed to find the root of the problem.  Mr. ***** has been told that several times but either does not understand that or is not willing to understand.  Please advise Mr. ***** that although he purchased a motorcycle as-is no warranty, that Capital City Cycles is doing all in their power to satisfy his concerns.

I am rejecting this response because: I’m still having the same issues with the motorcycle after I picked it up.

    Sincerely,
    Jaysen *****

Customer sent a request to cancel his extended service contract.  Therefore, he no longer has coverage for any type of repairs to the motorcycle. Please stop the back and forth and realize that he purchased a motorcycle as-is no warranty.  We have addressed his concerns as of date and this claim needs to be settled.  There is no liability on behalf of Capital City Cycles to perform any repairs to Mr. *****' motorcycle.

I purchased a 2010 Harley Davidson FLSTC and I was told they stand behind all the bikes by there salesman Jason. They lied and told me they tuned it up. Did not. I handed them 1600 dollars. Drove bike home and after 10 miles it died. Battery and engine light is on. Can't get no one to answer the phone. They keep putting me on hold and ignoring my calls now. I wasted 1600 on a bike I can't ride and have no way to get it off the side of the road

Please be adivsed that the motorcycle is currently in our service department being repaired at no cost to the customer.

Zachary R*** has try to communicate with them bout the primary tearing up after leaving their service shop from the first incident. They ignored me. Put me on hold. They had remove primary and put a stator in. Get it back and the primary is knocking and belt broke. I paid 1500 down and $1600 just to fix it back myself at another because they told me it was sold "As-is" and I signed the paper. I feel like I over payed for a lemon.
