Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/11/24) */ Customer called and asked for quote for new service pole and service. That includes new pole and 200 Amp panel and meter base, etc. We quoted him $2500 . He said *** ****** come out and quoted him over $7000 , so he decided to use us for the job. We did as agreed , permit pulled , work completed and inspected with no complaints. Called us several days after the work was completed and said " his wife feels like the work done should only be $1300 ". Well that's not what the work cost. It cost $2500 and he threatened to leave us a bad review with the BBB if we didn't change it to $1300 ... Well we aren't changing anything, we quote the work, the price was accepted, the work was completed and inspected with everything passed and code compliant. The power company has no authority to tell a customer or a contractor what is acceptable for county code enforcement. Regardless of who said what. A customer always has the right to call multiple contractors and receive multiple quotes before making their decision. It's my understanding that they did just that and decided to go with us being we were the cheapest quote. We proceeded to do the work as stated in a timely manner and a neat and professional job. That's all we can do. Will S********* Stephenson Electric
