    I have tried canceling my service . But I’m told I can’t . And if I do they will add charges against me . I completed a 36 month contract . And I asked for them to remove the trash dumpster. I’ve even sent a certified letter . And was told , I can’t cancel because of an automatic contract renewal policy . I just want to cancel service because I can’t pay due to a decline in my business.

    We had a valid legal agreement for this location in which we were well within our rights to charge liquidated damages if customer chose to cancel.  However, during this time, the state had re-evaluated the weight limits on the bridge going to the customers property.  Our truck is now to heavy to cross the bridge.  I contacted the customer to let him know due to the bridge we are unable to service his account and would terminate the agreement which worked in both of our favor.  Please remove this complaint from our business.

    Waste Connections bought out *** ***** *** *** approximately 3 years back. When *** ***** *** *** was owning and operating the company the people were wonderful, the service was great and they were great to work with. Since Waste Connections took over it has been a complete disaster. It is my fault for sticking with him for all these years. The only upside to the company is that Tina in customer service is a very sweet and kind person but that's as far as I will go. I would say that Micky in customer service needs to find a new line of work as she doesn't know how to listen but se does know how o talk over the customer. In the last 3 years that Waste Connections has been picking up my trash there probably has been a 50% pick up rate. They often do not come and pick up the trash, nor will they reimburse you for the days they failed to come get your trash. I guess you could say the final straw on the camel's back was made when they failed to pick up my trash on July 21st, 2022. In fact they have not picked up my trash since mid June as I was on vacation for 3 weeks in El Salvador. Prior to departing I paid them from April through September for the amount of $126. Today I canceled my service and they decided to cancel my service as of August 2nd and not today. In addition the last trash pickup was on June 23, 2022. They missed the last pickup date which was July 21, 2022 and today the trash can remains full on the curb. After talking to Mickey she prorated my refund to be $39. I presume they come up with an $8 a week charge cuz that's what I was given after complaining about it. The reality is they charge approximately $5.25 per week. I'm almost positive that they missed at least three pick up times during that last time frame. With that being said an actual charge of $42 should be given and the rest refunded. $126-$42= $84. Instead they said they would refund me approximately $47 for a difference of $37 that I am due. I tried to complain to the regional manager.
