    I am on my 4th Mazda from McKinney Mazda and could not be happier! NO complaints from sales to service...This is a great dealership with a great staff that makes you feel like family!

    Words Can not express how much I love my Mazda CX-5!! Great experience all around. My salesperson was very knowledgeable and even took the time to show me how all the new features worked!

    Let me start this by stating that the dealings I had with the sales rep, Chris C., were just fine. Nice guy knowledgeable, easy to talk with. And since all cars are in such short supply, we all know that price drops are out of the question. At least McKinney didn’t have ADM. I had saved enough, plus the trade in, to allow me to buy the car outright, without the need of a loan. The sales rep and the “sales manager” both told me that McKinney policy was that I had to take a loan on the car as a condition of the sale. Strange business policy, isn’t it? After that it was all downhill, and as usual, it was all with the finance department. This is the fifth time in a row that the finance department of a dealership has cast a pall over the “experience”. In the past 8 years, we have encountered a rude finance person (Mazda), a rude/lazy/petulant finance person (***), a dishonest finance person (Mazda) and finally an extremely officious finance person (McKinney Mazda). I’ll spare the details, but the initial dealings with the finance person were within earshot of the “sales manager”, who immediately put his head down and pretended not to notice. He obviously had no intention of asserting any authority. He later found the time to disappear until I left the dealership. The problem I had with the finance person could have been rectified by me, without her interference. And remember that my dealing with the finance person should have been confined to me saying “no” to all the costly marvelous add-ons and “insurances” that are peddled in that office, then saying goodbye. In any case, this time was the only time that McKinney Mazda would ever see me, unless it is for warranty service. I can hardly wait.

    ****, Thank you for your review of McKinney Mazda. We always welcome a customer's thoughts and opinions. In further review with all involved in your transaction we feel it necessary to respond as to the events that took place. When asking to perfect the lien holder you told us it was not necessary and were confident that your insurance company would not make the change over the phone. When we tried to reassure you that this could be done, you became agitated and told us "good luck" in trying to get that done. As we were able to get the lien holder perfected on the phone, we feel this upset you. Unfortunately, it is a dealer's obligation to record the bank information to the insurance company per their dealer agreement. This is protecting you as the consumer and us as a dealer. As for signing disclosures for optional coverages available, we offer these options to each and every customer to adhere to fair lending practices. You said it was not necessary, but reluctantly signed the options and declined all additional coverages. As for other forms you raised objections to sign, these also fall under fair lending practices and are presented to each and every customer as well. It may be possible that the "several" other dealerships you said were horrible to deal with, were following these same practices. Times have changed Jack and the lending practice along with them. It's our obligations to treat all transactions the same and to treat all customers fairly. We are sorry for your misunderstanding of the process, but we hope that you will enjoy your new Mazda.
