We purchased a bike on Sunday February 4th, ****. The motorcycle NEVER left the dealership, we didnt even bring it home NOR did we put insurance on it. We no longer wanted the bike because we werent promised the interest/payments they discussed with us. The dealership bought the bike back from us for $20K and KEPT our deposit of $10K. When asked why they kept our deposit we were told they kept our deposit for the title and tags for the motorcycle. Were wanting our deposit back.

April 02, 2022 I had given the dealership $2000.00 cash as a deposit towards a Heritage Softail on the condition I was going to be able to get my husband to sign off on the Can Am I was using as a trade in. I gave the $2000.00 to Shawn Hoff the Sales Manager at the dealership. However, once I got home and discussed the deal with my husband he refused to sign over the Can Am which negated my deal. When I informed Shawn via email he continued to avoid sending any type of written confirmation about returning my deposit.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/06) */ We have attempted multiple times via both phone and email to reach out to ******* regarding how we can get her deposit returned to her. She has been unresponsive to both methods of contact and has not given us the opportunity to speak to her on the phone regarding how we can get this resolved for her and her deposit returned. I look forward to speaking to ******* to ensure we get her deposit refunded. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/05/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This business has not attempted to email me any terms on how to go about getting my deposit back. At this point I will only accept something in writing because I do not trust anything that is not in ink at this point in time. They have my mailing address. Simply send a check or money order in my name to said address. Otherwise, this company is just stealing my money. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/05/13) */ We had asked Ms. ***** to respond back via phone or email so we can discuss how she would like us to proceed with the refund. We have the ability to put it back on the card she used to give us a deposit which would be faster and more reliable than a check in the mail. However, since she has now indicated that she would prefer a check to be mailed, that has been done. She should expect to receive it in the coming days. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/05/13) */ ***Document Attached*** This is the entire email chain beginning when I informed Shaun that I could not get my husband to sign off on the Can Am. Not once does he mention, in type, that he would be sending me any of my deposit.
