On 5/25/22 I went to pick up my vehicle that had been repossessed. Upon receiving my vehicle there were multiple dents and scratches that were not on the vehicle prior to them picking it up. There were also several personal items missing from my vehicle. This company is unprofessional, they are short tempered and they are thief's. I would like my vehicle in the condition it was in prior to them picking it up. I have paperwork that they signed stating there was no damage to the vehicle when they got it. I also have photos of all the damage that I took at their business in the parking lot. They denied all accusations even though I have paperwork and photos to support my claim and they need to be held accountable.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/08) */ The vehicle was recovered on 5/19/22 at *** ******** ** ******* ** XXXXX. The vehicle was pulled in with the rear facing the exit. The agent verified the VIN and attached the lift to the rear tires, pulled it about 2 feet, and then he reattached to the front. Once the vehicle was secure on the lift, he attached dollies and straps to the rear tires and transported the vehicle to our secure Denton Facility. No breach of the peace occurred during the recovery. No damages occurred to the property or collateral during the recovery and transport. Once the vehicle arrived at our Denton facility, the agent completed the condition report and took exterior pictures of the vehicle and one vin picture from the door (no cellphones shown). The agent has advised that he did not remove any property from the vehicle and that he did not see any cellphones. The manager then inventoried the personal property that was in the vehicle. The vehicle was not moved from where the agent parked it until the consumer arrived to redeem his property and the vehicle on 5/25/2022. ****** ***** was given the paperwork to review while the collateral and property where made accessible. He informed the lot manager about the property issues and he was informed that all the items were returned. He was adamant that he had 8 cellphones in the vehicle that were not returned so the manager provided him compliances information. ****** contacted compliance that afternoon and advised of the missing cellphones and damage to the vehicle. He provided pictures where he alleged showed the damages so that it could be included. AAR has investigated the claim and has verified that the agent did not remove any items from the vehicle and that it was returned in the same condition it was recovered in. The vehicle was redeemed unlocked and therefore we can not take any responsibilities for items that were in the vehicle prior to the recovery, unless documentation proving items were in the vehicle is provide. Furthermore the dent in the rear hatch is in our recovery photos indicate that damage is preexisting that the alleged damage was on the vehicle prior to the recovery. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This is not true, Jacob D****** could have easily removed personal property at any time before photos were taken. Also I have paperwork stating there was no existing damage on vehicle prior to repossession. And I have photos of all damage while vehicle was still parked at their "business". They stated they have cameras and when asked if we could view footage they became defensive and denied my request because "they were ready to leave at exactly 4:30". This is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. Also many sections of their paperwork is inaccurate and false and said I had to sign all papers before they could release my vehicle with the exception of personal property in which I wrote in the missing items. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/06/13) */ Pictures and a condition report taken prior to the time of the recovery shows that the vehicle had the alleged damage. Also that the alleged missing phones were not documented and the consumer failed to provide documentation of such items being in the vehicle. If no documentation is provided or shown AAR will not take liability for missing items. If the consumer finds any verifying documentation of such we will revise the outcome of the claim.

Clearly a money scam or insurance FRAUD. They hold your car for 10$ a day and WONT LET YOU PICK IT UP WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Then they won't give you an itemized receipt of your charges. Will charge you for extra days without notifying you. Terrible place. STOLE ITEMS OUT OF OUR CAR STOLE OUR LICENSE PLATE &Refused to give it back. Refused To provide me with the exact date my car was picked up. Back dated the pick up date on my car so I had to pay 20$ more. THEN they also started prepping my car for auction even though I had 17 more days to pick up my car. They don't keep accurate records on how long your car has been stored. They will charge you what THEY FEEL LIKE. Terrible business wouldn't recommend to ANYONE and will be also filing a report with my local police department to investigate the potential insurance fraud scam. Because how can you keep a car for less than 15 days and "prep it" for auction without actually seeing how long it's been on the lot. Terrible business. And also damaged my car. Items were missing once we finally DID get the car back and no explanation was given other than "they prepped" it for auction. They're BEGGING for Lawsuit for the way they conduct business.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/03/30) */ The vehicle in question was recovered on 3/10/2022 with interior access and keys. It was secured and then delivered to our Columbia facility with no damages or breach of the peace occurring. Immediately upon the arrival the vehicle at our secure facility, a condition report was documented and the personal property was documented and inventoried per company procedure and policy. The vehicle was released to the customer on 3/24/2022. The customer was charged a total of $225.00. The vehicle was stored at our facility for 15 days at $10.00 a day and a redemption fee of $75.00. The customer was properly charged for our services. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/04/05) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The Business has even confirmed that these charges aren't itemized correctly. The car was store at their Facilty 03/10/2022 and picked up 03/24/2022 which is 14 days! Not 15. And doing SIMPLE MATH the initial charges were 75$ Service Charge + 10$ a day. 215. Even with adding an additional day would bring the total up to 225$ WHICH IS NOT WHAT WE WERE CHARGED AT THE FACILITY. I will share an image of the receipt that was provided to me. NO WHERE on this receipt does it say where this additional charge is coming from. We were charged 234$ and the credit card fee was only 3$ which should've made the charges 228$. When we asked the business for an itemized receipt so we could see where this mystery charge was coming from the declined to give us one. 225$ IT NOT WHAT WE WERE CHARGED. The response by this owner is a blatant LIE and they're only trying to save their reputation however I refuse to let them swindle another customer like they did to me and my family. The car was damaged when we picked it up. We did not receive any "Damage report" that was taken when the car supposedly arrived. We did not receive any itemized list of personal items that were in the car. They took our items and wouldn't even give them back unless we asked. They were okay with letting us drive off with a License Plate or our items until I requested them from the office. 225$ doesn't simply turn into 75 * 140 =234$ That doesn't even add up and I will submit a copy of my bank statement showing that I was ACTUALLY charged 234$ when in reality my charges should've been 215$
