The company was easy to reach and talk with. When they offered advice and answered my questions. The day of the move we were a little surprised by the size of the truck; but they said no everything would get on to the truck. Well, it didn't. When you are moving and closing on houses, you need to get everything out. The company delivered the truckload the next day but the extra belongings did NOT make it for over a month! We do realize mistakes can be made and because of closings and traveling back and forth from South Carolina to Virginia, I was fine with the few days of delay. But they couldn't seem to be able to schedule the delivery of the remaining belongings. We are not talking cross country; pretty straight run up routes 85/95. It got so bad and we really needed our lawn mower, my husband drove back to pick up the mower and a few other things. You call and ask when and it's "I'll get back to you". Three days later you call and it's "I'm waiting on a call back" or "I'm looking at the schedule". I can be very patient; too patient according to my husband. I thought my move would be completely over by Mother's Day. Memorial Day. Just before Father's Day. And the final delivery was done by an outside contractor.H D Auston Moving Systems, LLC Response

This company is OUTSTANDING. Having moved 6times in 7 years we know a bit about moving and movers. We needed to have a sectional sofa picked up at the store and delivered to our home. Hardy A***** was top notch working with setting up our delivery. When I called the store to see when it was picked up the sales rep told me how impressed he was with how expertly they wrapped and the pieces for delivery and he was right. Very professional and efficient move. For pre-move a person came out and looked at all the furniture and took pictures. When the move day came, the move was very organized. The crew was excellent and did everything possible to protect furniture and breakable items. Everything came to my new house in perfect condition. I thought the crew went our of their way to make a moving situation as painless as possible. I would certainly recommend their services to anyone thinking of moving. Timely. Professional. Fun crew that knew their job and we stayed out of their way to allow them to do it. We were especially grateful that they assembled or beds and placed boxes in the rooms as they were labeled. We would use again and recommend to others. I have moved about half a dozen times in my adult life and I can say, with certainty, that Auston Moving has been THE BEST experience of them all. From the beginning, the owner was positive, upbeat, encouraging, and accommodating. The estimate was accurate and there were no surprises. We had a four person crew and they had the system down to a science! Each person had a specific job to make the move efficient and effective. The crew was just like the owner, positive, accommodating, and easy to work with. I like how they encouraged each other as they were guiding furniture around corners or into certain spaces. They got along well with each other and respected each other, and that was evident. I appreciated how the main crew member would encourage another crew member to use another person to help him move something to keep him from fatigue and ensure no walls or floors were damaged. It's little details like that which show care for the customer and their home/belongings. Moving is very stressful. I can say that the team at Auston Moving took every bit of stress out of the situation. If I ever move again, they will be the only company I call. I would highly recommed them for anyone looking for a moving company that is respectful, affordable, and conscientious of your belongings.H D Auston Moving Systems, LLC Response
