Before signing a contract with the builder, he guaranteed he would have our home remodel completed and we could move back in before Easter of 2023. we finally moved in- though the work was still not completed- in November of 2023. Joe Wright also assured us furniture would be moved from room to room as each room's flooring was completed. Instead I found the upholstered living room furniture, the dinette table and chairs, the dining room table and the washing machine in the open carport. The furniture was ruined from the constant rain and the washing machine disappeared. I even found an interior door had been removed and Joe had taken it to his house. My wife and I understood from the very first talk with Joe Wright that the back screened porch would be built, then painted white to match the house. Joe's painter/foreman also understood this to be the case as he asked me after the porch was built if I still wanted it painted white or would I prefer he stained it , He and I agreed it would be painted, Joe, after parting with his painter/ foreman, then informed me he did not figure the price of painting the porch into the quoted price for his work. What a crock! Constant issues have been brought to his attention- only a few times has Joe Wright come himself to address his shabby work. Usually he has sent someone else who may or may not fix the problem and Joe has to be called or texted again.

In regards to the painting of the porch it was never priced in the contract. Only interior painting was figured. We have gone back every time to address the issues and have fixed them. We had to go back a few times to re-fix some things but we did and in a timely manner. The latest issues are warranty items and one thing is brand new such as the grout. I offered to come the very next day after he sent me an email informing me of the issues and said it was okay to do so and then a few minutes later told me he was going to sue me instead of giving me the right to cure. Asking for a complete refund of the. They have been living in the house for many months and no real big problems have come about other than some warranty items. We would like to offer to fix the warranty items and if Mr. ********* still doesn't want us to then we void the warranties on those things,

Attached is a screen shot of our text.

    Thanks,

    Joe
