its been 42 days since i purchased a 2008 ***** accord coupe from these guys and here is the update i have.1st week of purchasing the vehicle, the car drove okay, no major issues, there was only cosmetic issues with the car when i purchased it, and the price for the car was awesome considering the mileage!2nd week of owning the vehicle, I noticed their was an oil leak, Along with Hard shifts from the transmission i brought this to the attention of the dealer, they told me to bring the car up there so they can check it out, we made arrangements to bring the car that following Saturday. Not a big deal i thought, so just kept driving car to and from work, and kept an eye on the oil level till i can get it up there, keep in mind, I'm in ******, the dealer is in little river so not the most convenient.I'm getting ********* on my lunch break, sitting in the drive thru, and every single light on my cars dash comes on, car dies in the middle of the drive thru, luckily i had a couple strangers kind enough to help me push the car to a parking spot. (i have documented proof of this) I called up *******, he told me to ahead and tow the car up there so they can fix it. I informed *******, that i was not going to be paying out of pocket to tow my car from socastee, to little river, so gemelli had one of his guys tow the car up to little river.Fast Forward 5 days later, I get a text message saying my car is ready to pick up. According to the dealer, they replaced the oil pan gasket, as well as the alternator and the car should be good to go! While i have no documentation of this, I believed they had in fact replaced what they said they did. They failed to mention anything about the transmission issue(red flag).3rd week of ownership, The check engine light came on my car. I took it to autozone and had it scanned, code P3497 (AKA Valve Pause System stuck off) I needed a **************** pressure switch, i decided to replace this on my own, since it would be inconvenient for me to bring the car all the way to little river for something like that. 286$ later....and thanks to blacks tire and auto, car no longer has check engine light, They also informed me the car is still leaking oil, and they cant do much about transmission and told me to take it to AAMCO. I reached out to dealership again. No Reply. Not a single person has reached out to me or called me. I'm more then likely going to need to put a transmission in this car just to get it to last me the time frame that I'm financing the car. I'm 100% going to end up putting more in this car then what i purchased it for.Long story short, i got GOT, These guys took advantage of the fact that I'm an 18 year old kid, and thought i wouldn't know any better. They sold me a LEMON, and now i am stuck to deal with it for the next 2 years. I get its a used car, but the car should have been thoroughly inspected, there shouldn't be ANY issues for at least 90 days from purchase date, Money isnt the issue, as i am blessed to have an AWESOME Job to pay for the repairs, The whole point of me purchasing the vehicle was to build my credit, as i didn't want to be in debt longer then 2 years, its the principle. I highly don't recommend Gemelli's Auto sales, They are just worried about the sale, after they get that, they don't have a care in the world. So disappointed in the outcome of this, just posting this to spread awareness of this deceitful place. I will continue to blast ********* on every platform, so no other young **** kid gets taken advantage of by this place. If its too good to be true, IT IS. Learn from my mistake.Im requesting that these guys just take their car back and let it be done, I would like it off my credit report and I no longer want anything to do with these guys. I WILL MAKE SURE that nobody in ************ ever buys a car from ********* if no outcome is reached. I will make it my mission everyday I wake up to bring this business down. They 100% knew this car wouldn't hold up and sold it to me anyways and that is unacceptable.

    Business response

    03/20/2023

*********************** came in on1/2/2023 looking for a certain priced vehicle so I showed him a few that fit what he was looking for..He chose to go with the 2008 Accord coupe. Every vehicle we sell we give customers the carfax plus give them the option of taking it to a mechanic to get it checked out. He chose not to.So we proceeded and he purchased the vehicle. All cars we sell are AS-IS unless the customer elects to purchase extended warranty. Mr. *********************** acknowledged this and signed the document that stated this.

    Thank you

so we went into gemellis to buy a car around February 11 2022 and paid $13,500 for a 2017 Volkswagen gti. When shown the carfax is only had one previous owner and no accident but that was not the case they wrote their own carfax about the vehicle, they also said the car was "perfect" with no problems because their on site mechanic did a full inspection and wouldn't let us take it to our mechanic to get it checked out before buying said vehicle. After driving it home we noticed oil leaks and only drove it to two places ******* and our personal mechanic. ******* said the only issue were sensors but our mechanic said the opposite and listed a ton of issue like the radiator almost fallen out, the tires almost falling off, etc. After getting the news of it being a totally "unsafe' car from our mechanic and price of repairs we called the dealership and blamed the issues on us even though we have proof of mileage and drove it to only two places in two week, they also said they won't be willing to help us and that was that. They also have every single one star review of their business removed from google instantly. They don't even have honest reviews for their business so we are writing this and contacting a lawyer because wee could've been killed from driving that thing from little river to Myrtle Beach. This business needs to be looked into because all they care about it making money they don't care about the customers lives one bit.
