    I joined in 2014. It's my fault, I never checked to see what benefits were available. The system has been billing me each year for now over 10 years. I am wanting to discontinue my membership. Next to impossible. I tried their web site sending request. No response. I tried direct email request. No response. I tried (after searching for a long period of time for the phone number) calling. Their hours are as follows Contact Us Office Hours: Mon. - Thur. 9-4 (e.s.t.) Fri. 9-3 (e.s.t.) Phone number: Email: VetFriends.com 547 Long Point Rd., Ste 113 Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 I called during office hours (26 Sept 2024 @1320) and recorded message said they were closed. To leave a message. I was on hold for over 5 minuets and finally got to leave a message. I get the impression they do not want to talk with any of their members. Date of experience: September 26, 2024 So now I have to continue to wait. If I do not receive a response, I will have to contact my credit card and have the charges block for future charges.

    These people are crooks. They automatically renewed my membership, I canceled immediately and they told me no refunds. These people scam you, in small print somewhere it tell you it auto renews and their are no refunds. Stay away,their not here to help veterans, they are here to take as much money as they can from veterans. I was auto renewed for 3 years and just found out. Trying to cancel immediately and get your money back,NOT HAPPENING. CROOKS ,.

    Bill, We are sorry to hear that you think we are crooks. It is in our terms and conditions that our memberships auto-renew and they are non-refundable. This was your third renewal and you contacted us three months after it was renewed. You also contacted us after you disputed it with your bank. Once a customer disputes it with their bank, it is out of our hands. We value our customers and do our best to make sure they are satisfied.

    On December 23, 2022, I called Vetfriends with reference to payments they deducted from our credit card. I spoke with A VERY RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL (woman, who sounded like a MAN, with a DEEP RASPY VOICE) by the name of BARBARA. I kept asking as to why my HUSBAND, A (DISABLED ARMY VETERAN) NEVER RECEIVED HIS MEMBERSHIP CARD. She got into an ARGUMENT WITH ME and started SHOUTING the following: ("WE took 3 payments, but your account was canceled due to non-payment!! ) I asked for the Cet membership or refund, and to no avail was the (he/she) going to REFUND NOR SEND THE MEMBERSHIP CARD. She and I exchanged PROFANITY. She DID NOT RESOLVE THE MATTER WITH ME. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY. I AM WAITING ON A CALL FROM Dale, THE OWNER. THIS WAS AN EXTORTION OF OUR MONEY, TO NEVER RECEIVE THE GOODS AND SERVICES. (THEY OPERATE UNDER "BAIT AND SWITCH" ADVERTISEMENT. (DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY NOR BUSINESS) !!     Bought 2 hats and license plate frames. A year later I'm charged $72.00 for recurring service I did not sign up for. Called to get a refund they were very rude and do not give refunds. Buyer beware when using this site. I believe they are scammers and not vet friendly.

    We are sorry you feel that we are scammers. We are a Veteran owned company and have been around 20+ years with over 2 million satisfied members. The $72 charge was a yearly membership fee that you joined. You signed up through an email to get this membership at a discounted rate. You also agreed to the terms and conditions that state it is a reoccurring charge and that our membership fees are non-refundable. We send out reminder letters about a month beforehand as well to give you the chance to cancel before being charged again. Our agent was not rude to you, she explained the policy and procedures to you and encouraged you to keep your membership since it was already paid for and to cancel closer to the renewal date.
