    My fiancé and I hired Kylie G********* of KG Weddings & Events in June 2022 to plan our wedding in April of 2023. KG W&E had good reviews on multiple wedding websites and our intro call with her went very well. Upon hiring Kylie, we were promised a 72-hour response window, which was a high priority for my fiancé and I. For the first few months, she was responsive, attended meetings, and was quick to reach out to vendors. However, in October, things started slipping through the cracks. We were told that a number of contracts such as transportation and florals were locked in, which we later found out they were not. In mid-October, Kylie invoiced us $1,800 for lighting which was to be paid to her directly. Upon receiving payment, we were given a receipt for "Lighting" which did not include a vendor name. After we terminated, we later found out that the lighting contract was actually $1,200 and Kylie walked away with $600. In early December, we were notified that the KG team was pausing all business meetings and activities between 12/9/22-1/9/23 due to health issues. We respected her time off and did not attempt any contact until after 1/09. Even though the team was back in the office, communication was almost non-existent. After numerous unanswered text messages, emails, and phone calls over the next two weeks, we made one final attempt to resolve things by scheduling a call to make sure things were on track. Kylie never joined the call, nor did she let us know that she wouldn’t be joining (even though she was given two days notice of the call). Her assistant, Nicole M, was able to make the call and assured us that things will improve. This was not satisfactory to us, so we requested that Nicole tell Kylie to reach out to us and tell us what was happening. We never heard from Kylie and decided to terminate the contract. We request KG W&E return our original deposit of $2,500 for breach of contract in addition to the $600 that was stolen from us.

    My fiancé and I hired KG Weddings/Events (Kylie G********* and Nicole M*******) to help us plan the biggest moment in our lives. To retain their services, we paid KG Weddings/Events a $3000 deposit for full wedding planning. Throughout the entire process communication was a problem. As time went on, and we got closer to our wedding day, communication completely stopped. We had not actually talked to Kylie in over 4 months. During this time, there were also multiple employees, all of who, only stayed around for a few weeks or months, causing a lot of confusion about who to work with. Important communication and planning with our vendors was being forgotten and our vendors were left in the dark. We tried multiple times to re-establish expectations and give KG weddings another shot, but there has been a complete lack of communication or care. They have failed on every level to meet the extent of the agreed-upon contract. They have not only left their clients in the dark (which looking at the BBB, looks like multiple couples beyond just us), but also all of our vendors. KG weddings and its employees (Kylie G********* and Nicole M*******, and multiple others who have since been let go or fired) have forced us into a very difficult and unnecessary position as we are planning for a huge moment in our lives. It is evident they have no remorse as they have not tried to remedy this situation with us at all. There have been multiple ignored emails, text messages, and phone calls, all trying to request the address to send termination of contract. We have not received communication back from KG Weddings employees (Kylie G********* and Nicole M*******) in weeks (after 1 initial email requesting a re-alignment of commitments). They have been unresponsive as we have requested the address to send a formal cancellation of the contract. We request KG weddings provide the address for termination and refund us the full amount we paid for the retainer.

    We paid this company a $2000 deposit for wedding planning. She was unresponsive and over time we requested her address so that we could give her formal cancellation of agreement and to get our money back. She still has not responded and owes us $2000. She scammed us out of money.

    Good Morning, We hired KGWE as our wedding planner in Spring of 2022. The first few months were a struggle - as the organization lost several of their employees and we could not get a response after we paid our deposit. In May, we had a sit down with Kylie who committed to doing better at responding and outlined a variety of excuses. Throughout the summer we continued to see very little improvement to response times and progress even though new employees were hired. In September, we had another call asking for explanation on lack of response and how to improve. In that call a response time of 24-72 hours and progress was committed to. Since that call, we received almost no responses or progress. Throughout the process we have received over 10 different excuses and the timeline and other details are provided in the attached termination letter. We have received no confirmation of our termination letter after 4 follow ups. Our request is to file a review with BBB as we believe this is happening to other couples, and for our deposit to be returned due to breach of contract.
