During the month of November 2023 I dropped off my 2008 INFINITI G35 at Mesa Auto LLC due to a coolant leak from the undercarriage of the car. I was then told but not shown that the problem was the waterpump. Im not a mechanic so I took the techs word that that was the problem. Approximately a week later I called to check on the progress of the car. I was told that it would be fixed soon. I was told that the repair would cost $1500. No problem. I paid him the money before the repair was complete and he wrote me a receipt. I was assured the problem would be resolved. I was then contacted maybe a few days later saying that the thermostat housing bolt had a problem which confused me. I was then told that it would cost extra money to repair. Ok no problem. La Mesa Auto LLC then kept the car for quite some time. (He went to Mexico during the holiday. Further delayed me.) Approximately until early Jan 2024. When I picked it up i paid the tech an extra $450 for a total of $1950.00. I did not recieve a receipt for this final transaction. After driving the car I noticed that it was still experiencing slight leaks from the undercarriage and also the smell of coolant in the cabin. The floor boards have moisture as well. I will now have to take the car to another shop to get the same issue addressed after the long repair. Nobody there wanted to speak to me about the car or what the problem really was they just took the money. I asked if the car needed an engine why not just tell me that initially. I feel as if I was swindled and the problem I was told the car had was not the problem it had. I surmise they just assumed what the problem was for a quick buck. Please look into this for me as it is very frustrating and the car is not repaired fully. They are good people but I feel like Ive been scammed. They kept the car for approx 2 months and I had to drop my insurance. On top of having to take a daily uber to classes. I then had to switch insurers. Just an overall headache
