    We got hit by Hurricane Helene and lost power. On September 28, 2024, I got gas from hotspot on ***** ****** in ***********, **. I waited in line for about an hour. I was instructed which pump to go to by a hotspot employee. I went into the store, paid $25 for gas. I pumped $25 worth of premium gas into my gas tank and left. Ater about 5 minutes of driving. My car cut off and would not start back up. I had to have the car pushed out of the street. On Sunday, September 29 I walked back to the hotpot and spoke to the manager (Ashley) at the store. She was very nice and took my information and said that once I was able to have the car serviced at the dealership I would need to follow up with them. I had my car towed to ****** ****** in *****. I had to pay an additional $60 due to the location. I received a phone call from Kenneth in the Service Center. He explained that the gas in my tank was full of water. They had to flush out the entire fuel system and clean everything out . The bill total was over $1000. At that point, I called hotspots corporate office and spoke to Tammy G******. She was very apologetic and helpful. She said that there was other customers who had the same issue. The pump was supposed to be shut down but was not. She also offered to speak to the dealership and pay my repair bill. I even gave her the phone number and service person to call. I received a call from my dealership that she did indeed call and paid my repair bill and that the car was ready for pickup. I had asked about being reimbursed for the gas and also my tow bill. She said that she would send me a check in the mail for the tow fee and the gas I purchased. It has been a month since this happened and I have not received anything in the mail. I sent a followup email a few weeks ago to check in with her also because I thought maybe she had gotten busy and forgotten. I also sent my address in the email. However, I have not received any response

    Good Morning,
    I wanted to update you on this situation: The business reached out to me and they sent me the check for the final payments that was due. I just deposited the check today for $85.  So I now consider this complaint has been resolved and can be closed. Thank you for your help.
