The Dog Wizard Greenville is amazing. Sent my pup in for board and train, he came home so much better. I can’t explain how awesome it is to have a dog that listens, still super sweet, and loves working on his training exercises. We are now working with the team with private lessons for our other dog. When you have issues with your dog/s or just want them socialized, send them to Tara and her team.

The Dog Wizard was instrumental in helping us train our 6-year old golden retriever, Bella. She had some obedience issues and one in particular that was becoming increasingly difficult - aggressive behavior toward certain neighborhood dogs. We took her to The Dog Wizard for a 3-week training course and we were very happy with the results. They also trained us how to keep training Bella so that we could continue reinforcing this new improved behavior. We enjoy reconnecting with the ongoing group trainings on Saturdays which also helps to reinforce our training and Bella's improved behavior. Bella loves the trainers so much that we feel completely comfortable leaving her with them for boarding when we go out of town occasionally.

Tara & her team at Greenville Dog Wizard are lifesavers. We sent them our mini golden doodle at 6 months old. He was a jumper, barker, and nibbler...challenging to get around our 3 and 1 year old at all. He came back after the 3 week training a changed dog! Thank goodness...or he may have needed to change homes!?? He now obeys with the commands of "sit", "come", "off", and "place"...like a champ. And he is making great progress on "heel". ???? We are super grateful!??

The Dog Wizard of Greenville is fantastic. I took my puppy there for Puppy training and socializing. It was a great experience I learned so much from the trainer. When he was older I sent him to a two week program to address obedience issued. He is the sweetest dog and very well behaved. I give a lot of credit to the great trainers at The Dog Wizard

Tara is an amazing trainer. She is caring and empathetic. She understands dogs and their behaviors and works towards helping in the best possible way. She is knowledgeable and works hard at training the dog the proper way and then takes the time to make sure you understand what needs to be done once training is over. I highly recommend her!

I have sent 2 dogs to Tara at the Dog Wizard. I cannot say enough good things about her training ability and her desire to follow through with owners once we bring our pets home. She has continued to be available for us to ask questions and Gain her advice. She is committed to making sure the owners feel confident to transfer all training to the dogs home environment. I would give her board and train program a 10 out of 10. My 2 dogs are very different personalities and she was able to pick up on that immediately and give me different strategies for each one. Highly recommend.

Tara and her team at The Dog Wizard Greenville worked wonders with my dog Chaz, who presented with a variety of problematic behaviors. Tara successfully addressed his problematic behaviors and provided helpful advice and encouragement to me as his pet parent. Tara is clearly a very experienced and skilled trainer. Thank you, *****. I think that Beau is doing wonderful and he is so smart, but you are awesome as well because you work with him so much and are very good about taking advice. You are the biggest part of his success.

We brought our problem "child" Athena in for training at the tail end of September for a 4 week intensive stay to work on many issues she had. And boy did she have issues. She had severe separation anxiety that resulted in the destruction of many cages and many items in our house. She also was not very keen on listening to commands. We had taken her to other non intensive training programs where she would do ok, but seemingly would never stay committed to learning. My wife and I worked and worked with her but made no headway for a long time. After the 4 weeks its like a light switch had flipped in her head. She was able to have much better recall on training items that were worked with. Now, almost 3 months later, shes like a totatlly different dog that we brought to Dog Wizard that day. However, the seperation anxiety problem persisited. She chewed a hole in her cage and even cut her face and gums up really bad trying to get out. Tara was more than willing to take Athena back in at no extra charge for a few weeks to really focus on staying in a crate. And....well...it worked! She can now stay in her cage without harming herself for long periods of time, its has been like a dream come true. Damian and Tara really helped us out so much and we are so glad that we found them and that we no longer have to even contemplate the very hard decision of surrendering our dog. WE VERY MUCH RECCOMEND DOG WIZARD OF GREENVILLE. THANK YOU!

You have to be committed and dedicated dog owners to deal with a dog with issues like Athena had and you guys are doing the biggest part of training which is following through with what we taught Athena. We make a good team and I expect that we will all continue our relationship with each other to keep Athena where she needs to be to continue to live a happy life and you guys be happy together.
