            We had sent in a 2014 ***** ***** to have it the alternator replaced. Part was bought prior to auto shop repairing car. They towed the vehicle to the shop from the house and took approximately 3 and 1/2 weeks to repair the vehicle. All the while giving no updates nor intention to call until a dealership we were working with on exchanging the vehicle to called them. As we picked up the vehicle the from Alhers, my partner noticed the reverse camera was not operational. In fact the entire piece was not even on. The computer was working prior to them taking the vehicle. Now the dealership we had made a deal with for a new car are pulling out of the deal.

            Hi *****, we are going to respond to this complaint via email.

            Yes we did have the vehicle here, yes we had to tow to the shop, we had to dig it out of a snow bank. The license had ******** license plates and had been expired since July, 2020. At no time did they indicate a time frame when they expected it back. Yes, the dealership did call me on the status of the vehicle, I indicated to them that the vehicle was ready. We did what he requested and installed customer's alternator. We were not aware that the camera was not working we only did what was requested. The dealership did not back out of the deal as it is on ******** lot.

            The repair done on this vehicle would not have caused the camera to be inoperable.
