Disappointed in First Premier Bank As a customer of First Premier Bank since 2021, I’m extremely disappointed with their recent actions and the lack of support I’ve received. Not only have I had issues with my available credit after making payments, but I’m also troubled by the fact that First Premier Bank seems to target low-income, Black communities with credit cards that often come with high fees and little transparency. It’s frustrating to see a financial institution that should be helping communities instead appear to take advantage of them. I believe companies like First Premier have a responsibility to treat their customers with respect and fairness—especially those who trust them to build financial security. Do not get this card! I got two and I decided after a few months to close them on the workout plan. I was hospitalized at the end of August and have been on bedrest until today when I returned to work. I missed one payment mistakenly but I turned around and paid that missed one and the next one. Two days later I get a notice saying that they took me off the program. I called because the balance after the payment is $82 on one and $170 on the other. I never missed a payment and I'm obviously nearly done paying them off. I offered to send my medical documentation if they needed. I don't need sympathy. You got your money plus some. They said they don't care and it is what it is. I was told that I have 3 days to pay the balances left in full or they will accrue fees and interest at 36% Apr. What a shame. The approval odds are high because they prey on the low income and working middle class people.First PREMIER Bank - Retail Response

The bank treats you like a child. I have a credit limit of $400.00. I owe $259 and they froze my card until I pay that balance. This happened before I even had a chance to make a payment for the next month. Now I'm gonna pay very slowly and when I'm done I'm getting rid of the card it's not worth it. I went to buy food and wasn't able to use it they froze it As if I owed them thousands of dollars. They also did this before even contacted me so I didn't know why my card was frozen. Very controlling and treating adults like children I do not recommend the card to anyone. I have other open cards, a good credit score and they've never done that to me.First PREMIER Bank - Retail Response

what a horrible company. I make a agreement with them to pay, which I've probably paid this card off 10- times over due to interest, and they mark it late on the credit file. complete joke then nobody answers the phone and they don't correct the error. they tell you to dispute then it doesn't change. worst credit card you could possibly get!.First PREMIER Bank - Retail Response

First Premier Bank is Creating Credit Fraud, First Premier Bank sent me a preapproval Mastercard that I did not ask for and it dropped my credit rating by 5 points it was approved through Trans Union, I called them and they said I did an application for it online that I didn't do, they lied then they said maybe it was someone else doing Fraud, I had a friend that received 1 aslo, I think they are sending out preapproved credit cards that you have to pay for just to get more business and destroying people's credit rating, they have scummy credit cards and they are a scummy bank that needs to be looked into by the FEDS and shut down.First PREMIER Bank - Retail Response

This company tries to hurt you credit interest rates are way too high and they keep hitting you credit trying to make sure you credit stays bad and when I reached out to see about paying they no longer have access to my account so how do I fix it.First PREMIER Bank - Retail Response

This credit card will ruin your credit!!, I have EXCELLENT payments with this company and they closed my account due to my bank account being compromised, I let them know immediately about this situation and continued making payments to them until all of a sudden they closed my account and reported me having a negative balance . After running the payment over and over charging my account so many times for returned check charge after I told them the bank amount was compromised and closed opening a new account with the same bank.First PREMIER Bank - Retail Response

THEY ARE COMPLETE IDIOTS. Made a payment through my bank account on 3/15 for $100, never got processed through my bank, NOTHING AT ALL. No clue if they put in the wrong account number or what. Got charged an extra fine for overdrawing my account because of their incompetence. on 4/12 called in and spoke to Issac and made a payment of $36.00 reference number #28880784, again was NEVER PROCESSED THROUGH MY BANK. See the attached as to what they have written. Once again, no clue who cancelled this payment of $36 and personally don't care anymore. I refuse to spend extra money on a money order or money gram because the idiots would probably screw that up also. Don't know who is handling their bookkeeping, possibly someone is a different country that can't read english or numbers.First PREMIER Bank - Retail Response
