Bought a horse from Kyle & Pam in Oct 2023 from horsebid.com. I knew I was taking a chance from buying from a online auction. But, after talking to them both, they reassured me he was everything they said. He arrived and as soon as he came off the trailer, I knew there was a problem. He looked much older then they stated and he was lame in the left front leg. He had an amazing calmness about him and I could tell he was going to be a nice horse. Except all his physical troubles. Now, I paid a pretty penny for this guy. My daughter was able to track his brand and found his original breeder. We got his papers. Was I shocked to find out he is 18 years old!!! Called Kyle and he got totally rude with me. Then I had the vet out for the lameness and did x-rays. He ended up with a old healed fracture in his fetlock. He will never be sound enough to do anything but a walk. Of course Kyle was so rude to me and disrespectful I had to have my husband take over. Kyle said to send the horse back for a different horse from them. First off, I would never do that to this horse. And why would I trust Kyle with any other horse. This gelding paid his dues and deserves a peaceful home. Kyle was very difficult to work with even though we had all the proof he sold me a much older horse and a lame horse. He did refund a very small amount but nothing like it should be. So people run from one of the Best horse traders I have dealt with. They are frauds all the way through. They cheat you and don't give a crap about the horses. I will care for this horse like he deserves but, now have no money to buy a riding horse. Run very fast from purchasing a horse from Kyle & Pam or Aspen Ranch.

I just picked up a horse from Pam Petersen, Petersen Horse Company, Aspen Ranch (whatever name she chooses to use I want to cover). I bought the mare through Horsebid. Knowing that it is dicey on any auction site, my husband and I spoke with Pam to kind of check her out. She was very responsive, seemingly very forthcoming with information, and answered every question we had. She claimed to have owned the mare for about a year, had trail ridden her, taken her places, said she was really easy to ride and deal with. We bid on, and ultimately bought, the horse. A registered quarter horse with papers so we knew what her age was. After the sale was done, communication with Pam became VERY sketchy. She was difficult to get a hold of, did NOT send copies of all the papers as we asked, the coggins was out of date so another had to be done in order to transport, and after driving 2 days from TN to SD to pick the mare up she denied us access to her until the morning of the pick up, saying she was not even on their property! She sent us pics of the papers late afternoon the day before pick up. Turns out - I happen to know the previous registered owner and I contacted her. She advised that Pam bought the horse from her at a sale NYE in Lebonan, PA, NOT a yer ago as Pam stated, The mare had never been trail ridden OR camping unless that had happened in SD during January and February (the time Pam owned her) doubtful. Further, the signed AQHA transfer form she provided was forged! It was not the last registered owners signature as required by AQHA. This was verified by the last owner. I absolutely do NOT recommend purchasing from this trader. The ad was a complete lie. She refused to meet us when we did pick up the mare. In fact, we were so uncomfortable going there we asked the local sheriff’s office to escort us, which they did. We were met at the end of the driveway and handed the mare. Overall, worst experience buying a horse I have ever had.

Purchased a pony 2 years ago. Was told she was 13 years old and in great shape. When she arrived at our home she was completely beat up by other horses she was put in a stock trailer with. It was a horrible sight. We still ended up taking her ******* my heart broke for her and she seemed very sweet. She was very malnourished, covered in dandruff and looked a wreck.

To top things off, after a week of having her I had my vet come and my vet tells me she is pregnant. Did not want another horse but I would never have sent the baby back to these terrible sellers so we kept the baby whom we are luckily born healthy.

Once she was healthy enough the vet came and floated her teeth. The vet confirmed she was more around early 20's and not 13. Her teeth were in terrible shape. She also has arthritis and has to take ****** every day to keep her comfortable.

I do have to say, she is a very sweet pony who is great on the trials. Terrible in the arena and the kids can not lope her without her bucking but at least the can trail ride with her and she does not spook at anything. She will have a forever home with us ******* **************************** *************************************************************** *************************
