    This company recently obtained a property near me, and its new tenant has not cut their grass this year yet. It is extremely overgrown and it is causing cats and rodents to migrate to my property now. I called BHT, and reported the issue to the woman that answered the phone. She told me that its the tenants responsibly to maintain the yard, and suggested that I go and speak to them. This doesnt make any sense to me. Who am I to go and tell someone to keep their yard together, this should be rectified by the owners of the property.

    This company purchased my aunt home from her previous landlord. She is elderly woman who receive rental assistance. She regularly pays her portion of the rent. However an increase of her rent went up in March. There were some communication issue and my aunt thought the increase was effective April of 2023. For March she paid the rent amount that she had been paying since 2022. She was unware that March 1 she was supposed to pay the increased rental rate. She was recently informed that she had a past due balance of $484. She did not understand why so she called and spoke with ***************** who did not giver her breakdown of why she was behind and kept saying it's in the portal. My aunt informed her that she does not know how to use it as she is 63 and asked her to provide the balance breakdown verbally. **** continued with saying it due to "late fees". I had my Aunt to call while I was on the phone so I could get an understanding of the balance. **** was rude and whenever I asked for clarification she would say "Oh my God" in a very exasperating manner. I asked if she had a supervisor and she said no it's Sunday. I requested their information and she hung up on us and did not answer the phone. She later sent my aunt another email with a ledger attached in which my aunt did not understand. I have requested my aunt current lease to see when the increased rent went into effect and why wasn't she notified that it was effective March 1. Next, my Aunt did not receive a rental agreement for the new lease. It's really bad when someone is trying to clear up debt they owe for the business to be so unprofessional in the manner ***************** was with us. I really hope they do something about it especially seeing the ** BBB score and that they are not accredited either. ***************** actions warrants an apology.

    THE WORSE COMPANY EVER!!!! PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. I MOVED IN UNDER ANOTHER COMPANY, AND THEN THESE GUYS TOOK OVER AND IT WAS ALL **** AFTER. THEY STOLE $658.00 OUT OF MY PORTAL FOR A SEWER BILL I WASN'T AWARE OF. THEY WILL SEND DIFFERENT MEN OUT TO YOUR PROPERTY AND THEY TAKE PICTURES AND NEVER COME BACK. EVERYONE WAS RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I'VE TOOK SO MANY PICTURES OF PROBLEMS IN THE HOME AND STILL NOTHING DONE IN THE 2YRS I WAS THERE. PLEASE DON'T RENT FROM THEM. SAVE YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!! SCAM ARTIST!!!!!! THEIVES!!!!!!!

    Ms. W***** lived in this property for two years. In late 2021, she complained of issues with her property. We had a maintenance tech go to the property to see what the issues were. She refused to let us fix the issues, so we sent our maintenance/rehab coordinator out to give a clearer understanding of what needed to be done at the property. Ms. W***** was very rude to our maintenance coordinator. When we were ready to begin the work on the repairs, our maintenance tech went to her property only for her to scream and yell at them, take his phone from him and yell at our maintenance coordinator, then not let the maintenance crew in the property to repair the issues. She told us at that time to never send anyone back to the property again. Because of her treatment of them, the maintenance techs refused to consider going back to the property and the issues remained unrepaired.

    Ms. W*****'s lease agreement indicates that she is responsible for all utilities and these sewer charges were rightfully added to her account. She paid the $658 through her tenant portal. There is no way to "steal" monies she willingly paid to her account.

    Ms. W***** has conveniently not told several other details of this same story. One is that she was previously, severely delinquent on paying her rent. We worked with her to get appropriate assistance, instead of filing for eviction, so she could stay in the property. She also recently stopped paying rent and currently owes the owner over $3200.00. She has been unapproachable; would not work with our techs and decided it was okay to stop paying rent.

    The property was bought from my old landlord back in October of 2020. I found out it was sold like mid September. Since *****. took over I was calling about plumbing issues but I had to pay and get it resolved. Long story short I basically had to move because they didn't setup a reinspection with housing so they stopped paying and I had 29 days to move out and I had lived there for nearly 6 years. So they decided to keep a portion of my deposit and claimed it was because of roach infestation. Mind you I never had bugs the whole time I was there. I have video of the cleaning and condition of how I left the house. I reached out to Jessica and Joan asking to speak with the property manager and was told that they would not call me back probably anyway but never would give me a name or number. At this point I'm in the process of getting things together for small claims court. Just be aware of who you rent from take pictures and videos and keep all documents for your records. I was told by Jessica that you never get all of your deposit back. I've requested paperwork on the professional cleaning and I still have not received it. I see why they don't have a good rating with the BBB.
