My 2017 Honda Accord was towed to this business in July of 2023 after it broke down. It was found the engine had "blown" & needed a new engine. The owner of the business quoted roughly ****** *or new engine & install. I also requested to have all 4 wheels replaced as well as the front & rear bumper due to some damage. I've paid the business a total of $4,450.14. Since July the owner of the business has told me multiple times "the car will be ready next week." When that time comes, it is not ready. In November, the day i was to pick up the car, he contacted me and said the engine he purchased was no good and needed to send it back and get a new one. He said he would have it ready by Thanksgiving. I never heard from him. I am a travel nurse and had to travel to Charleston SC for 13 weeks for work. While i was away working, i attempted to contact the owner on several occasions to check on the status of my car, but he didnt responded to my text messages or answered or returned my calls until the end of January. I informed him i would be returning home in February. He said he would have the car ready by then. When i returned home i contacted him and he said he was in Florida and wouldn't be back in town for 10 days. I asked if the car was ready and he said yes. The 10 days passed and the day before i was to pick up my car, he sent a text stating the car was not ready, yet again, and their was a problem with the "torque converter". He promised he would make things right and was putting all other work on hold as my car was priority. He stated he only needed a few more days. That was on March 12, 2024. It is now April 4, 2024 and twice again i was told i could pick my car up, only to keep getting messages stating the car was not ready. I have asked on multiple occasions for receipts for what ive paid for and have not been given anything. I am a home health travel nurse. I put a significant amount of miles on vehicles and i need this car.
