    Horrific experience- Made a service appointment over one week in advance- then when we brought the truck in, they did not look at it for another three working days. We had to call to check on it and they promised they would get to it the following day. We called and they were always too busy to talk and could they take a message and get back to us. We only got responses when we insisted to stay on the line until our service advisor was available. Friendship Ford took six days to send a just a text, with rough estimates, we still had not received an actual quote. After two weeks they called and said the mechanic that was working on it was leaving. We told the manager that we STILL had not seen an official quote. Finally got the quote sent to us later that day. But, it took four weeks total to finish the truck During this time they did not offer us a loaner vehicle until two and half weeks into the work, and only after we complained about having to share vehicles. The estimate shows that the work would take less than one week but it took their new "top mechanic" another week and a half to finish. When we picked up we asked for a discount since it had taken one month to do a week's worth of work. Friendship Ford showed us a list of things that they claimed they had not charged us for as a "credit." This included the oil filler cap (which they lost), as well as the extra seals, gaskets, and coolant they said they needed. The prices they quoted included gaskets so either Friendship Ford lost the gaskets with the filler cap, broke the ones paid for during the work, or can't figure out how many are needed for the job. Additional coolant as a credit? A coolant change was part of the work we paid for, but apparently Friendship Ford does not know the coolant capacity of their own trucks and had to get extra. So the list of "credits" turned out to be the list of errors they made but didn't charge us for. Worst experience in my life with a service department.

    We were going to purchase a car from a dealership in TN. We successfully negotiated a fair price, and paid the car in cash, which was through a domestic wire transfer from our bank. Everything went well in the beginning, I was signing the papers, then as I was signing, they presented a “Conditional Delivery Agreement.” In this so called agreement, it states that I would be taking the car prior to approval and the transaction is conditional upon final approval by a lender and funding to that dealership. Also, it says that upon signing this, they will have authorization to look up my credit and place the financing contract with a lender I choose. If I am unable to provide funding within 24 hrs or if they can’t get funding within 10 business days, they can terminate the contract. It would be understandable to sign this and I probably would have, except, as I stated before, I wanted to pay for the car IN CASH. I wouldn’t have to sign the CDA, because it wouldn’t be necessary. I am not financing the car. Ohhh, but no. According to them, buyers must sign it, otherwise we can’t continue with purchasing the car. TN law. Both my husband and I did some research, and nowhere it says that cash buyers are required to do a CDA. In fact, it said ( AI search) that it was NOT REQUIRED for a cash purchase. We didn’t agree to sign it, so they canceled the contract. And by the way, I received notification from my bank, after we walked away, that the transfer was complete, the same day. It didn’t even take one hour. I was told 15 min. Tops. They had the money. I didn’t need to sign it. I did try to call the bank back to stop the transfer, but the business day ended (5 pm ET) at the time I called. Another whammy . So now, I have to go back up there to get confirmation that they sent the money back.

    We purchased a vehicle from Friendship Ford a week ago. I had agreed on a price to finance. Once the vehicle was financed I was made aware extra cost of ****** was added to the paperwork before they submitted it to the bank and we did not agree on the charges or that amount being financed. We are seeking resolution to this issue . We were lied to and manipulated by this dealership. This business needs to be held accountable for their actions and make this right by tearing up the paperwork and reimbursing the bank the check they issued them for this vehicle. The vehicle will be returned.
