Buyers beware. In the paper work provided it states you have 30 days to cancel a policy you purchased. What they fail to tell you is they allow dealers to upsell the warranty therefore they will only refund the amount they charged the dealer. You then have to go after the dealer to try and get your remaining funds. This is terrible buisness. They claim they vet the dealers but there exact words to me were "you don't know a bad dealer until you get one". If they are allowing dealers to upsell and be the face of freedom they should have skin in the game to have to make things right if you cancel within your allotted time. I took it as far as I could with freedom I believe talking to who claims she is the ceo and all she did was try to pull every scenario with other box stores to try and justify why they won't refund. I will do everything in my power to let the sxs community know how they work and if they continue buisness this way they will be a name of the past in no time.Review from Samuel or Tawanna M

I have had problems using this warranty since I got it! I needed to use it and they said it was inactive! I spoke with someone that said it wasn’t and they needed to speak with someone on the back end to fix it! It was for 48 months or 70000 miles which it’s only been 39 and they are not letting me use it!!! COMPLETE SCAM DO NOT PURCHASE!Review from Charles G

Do your best to get Jason M*****, an Arizona Representative. He worked his tail off to get my refund after the **** ***** dealership in ********, Louisiana basically tried to con me on a repair. He was amazing and did everything in his power to get my refund. I highly recommend freedom warranty, if you’re lucky enough to have Jason as your agent, you’re in great hands with him and their company.

ABSOLUTE SCAM COMPANY!!!! Worthless warranty. Complete scam company!! I bought a warranty from Freedom when it was offered to me at a used car lot. Salesman swore they would cover legitimate claims. Engine and transmission absolutely covered. I'm only 900 miles into a 24k/2 year extended warranty and have had a complete engine failure. The dealership I brought the car to wrote a bulletproof diagnosis of the engine failure. Freedom wouldn't even call me until I reached out for answers from the used car lot. Car has been sitting at a dealership for months. The rep who finally called said they would NOT cover ANYTHING because of the milage!!! I'm only 900 miles into the warranty. Right now my vehicle is worth scrap metal because they have decided the car had too many miles??? .Freedom is the warranty company of all your worst fears. These people have only contacted me 1 time about this nightmare and that was only because I demanded answers. I'm out every single penny now on a car I've only driven a few times.Review from Dalton B

Wow! I recently bought a used car from a small dealer that uses this company for their 90 day/3,000 mile warranty. After about 1,000 miles on the vehicle, the timing chain started making noises. The shop I took it to, diagnosed it as timing chain, cam phasers, tensioners etc. The shop also recommended the water pump be replaced with the timing chain since the motor would be torn down and the water pump is internal. Monday 11/11, mind you it was a federal holiday, the claim was filed. Within 48 hours, Wednesday 11/13, the inspector was sent out to the shop to confirm the findings. Today, 11/15, Freedom Warranty approved the claim up to the policy maximum of $1,500. Mind you, the dealer paid $120.00 for this policy. In my opinion, they were fast in approving the warranty and authorizing the repair work. I wish I would have paid for an extended warranty through this company. Just follow the guidelines in the contract and they won’t fight you, and they will honor their portion. I’ve never dealt with an extended warranty like this before. Just filed another claim 4 days after filing one for a separate issues and these guys took care of it in just a couple of hours. They really just want your vehicle back on the road and that’s what you would expect out of a warranty company. This warranty is worth every penny.Freedom Warranty, LLC Response

My car was not starting. I brought it my mechanic, who I have been using for years. I showed him my Freedom Warranty policy. Two hours later my car had a new alternator in it. Problem solved.Review from Mike C

Terrible warranty company. The point of a warranty is to fix the issue without worries. You pay all this money for them and when the time comes freedom plays hide and go seek. You get a different rep each time and no one seems to know what’s going on. Takes months to get your car fixed and half the time the dent the claim. Read reviews… stay far, far, far away from freedom warranty for automotive!!!Review from Lynette W

Let me start by saying BEWARE! This company is a scam. I put my car in the shop at the beginning of Sept and I went through the process of giving the warranty company my maintenance records as required it to Freedom a month in a half to tell me that my claim was denied. The reason my claim was denied was because they don’t accept hand written invoices. So because a business isn’t using computer generated invoices and doing things the old fashioned way I was denied. I advise you to thoroughly take a look at the contract as these type places will do anything to NOT pay for your work. Freedom warranty is just another warranty company that scams people. I will definitely be contacting the BBB to make people aware of the poor practices of this company. I would highly recommend that you NOT pay for a warranty with this SCAMMING company.Review from Andre G
