    On 8-21-24 I visited the KFC on broad st chattanooga tn at 3:21pm. I ordered and my total came out to 29.02 I handed the lady my debit card and she ran the card 2 times and told me it had declined. I had just received my pay check so I knew I had more than enough on my card. She said they were having issues with the terminal and ran my card for the 3rd time. It still declined she said. I happened to have cash with me so I took my card and paid cash. On 8-22 at 10:11 pm my card showed the charge posted on my account. I called the number on my receipt and talked with the manager and he advised me to file a dispute with my bank account because they had trouble with the credit card machine and it had went through an update. I filed the dispute with my bank and they denied it because it was collected on a totally different day and time than my receipt showed. I called and made a complaint with kfc on line and the district manager told me he would be looking into it. The next evening I didn't hear anything from him so I texted him and asked for an update. He told me that he still had to look into it further because he couldn't even find my original receipt and the cameras were down and he asked if I had anything else from my bank showing it took my money. He called me when I asked what he wanted other than what I provided. He said that he wanted it on a letter head from my bank and that he would not have to research any more or watch the cameras. I told him I would do that but with the aggravation I wanted the money back I was over charged and what I paid in cash. He said ok. I had the letter and sent it to him within 2 minutes. But he refused to refund the cash I paid but he would give me what I was double charged. I believe that they are taking credit card numbers and that the district manager is covering for the store. The store manager lied and said that the card system was fine. They had no record of anything which is not possible since I have both the receipts now.

    Here's all the information and proof ***** received your $29 dollars. ***** you in the text wanted double money. In the slide ***** 2 you will see where she came to the store and received payment, In slide 6 you will see where she's telling me you wants double payment for her trouble

    I am rejecting this response because: Like I have said the whole way this happened is CRIMINAL! And just out of curiosity can you explain how it was ran? I am not unreasonable, I wanted an explanation as to why on a totally different day My card was ran for a different transaction. So why was there no investigation on how this happened? No this company wants to take the lazy way out and you didn't even want to do the investigation in the first place. There is a special place for you sir. You will see one day when karma pays you for covering for someone who is steeling credit card numbers. And as for double the amount back? You agreed to pay that amount because you didn't want to do your job and made me do it for you ?? LOL. You will get caught and I will stand there and watch.
